Flight Training – Instrument Enablement Basics – Crucial Early Hours

Today I am going to write about one aspect of IFR training, and one of the most vital aspects of instrument qualification out there. This concerns both CFIIs and pilots. The need to be able to fly the aircraft accurately. That means training what I like to call zero tolerance, zero. That means killed at an altitude, killed on a heading. Pilots pressure to rush to make approaches, holds, etc. It will end up being completely detrimental to them in the long run, and as of yet, they are unable to understand the negative impact this will have. Pilots new to IFR training must understand the need to master precision flight skills before learning to fly holds, holding entrances, and more.

I get questions from pilots all the time, like, “Why do I have to spend all this time doing this? When can we move on to the good stuff?” and similar questions. These questions are indicative of a pilot who has no concept or understanding of the absolute need to master this skill before advancing further in the program of studies. As CFII, it is our responsibility to convince new IFR students that without this skill, probably the most important skill in IFR, they will never be good and safe IFR pilots. Acquiring this skill will allow them to fly safely, allowing them to manage their instrument flight workload effectively and efficiently.

IFR student pilots, embrace this phase of your training, learn to fly the aircraft accurately in any configuration, learn to adjust the aircraft for climb, decent level flight, airspeed. Clipping skills will be the most valuable weapon in your IFR arsenal. Once you have mastered that skill, it will make the rest of your IFR training that much easier. If you decide to take shortcuts and rush, you will consequently be fighting the course to the end, your confidence will suffer, and you will feel dejected and disappointed.

You will spend a fair amount of time without your fingertips to perform other tasks, you will not be able to do this if you have to make corrections to maintain your desired bearings and altitudes. In smooth air, your aircraft will adjust exactly to maintain an altitude and you can maintain an exact heading with your feet on the rudder pedals. A consistent and competent demonstration of these skills will be the cue for your instrument instructor to advance you to the next phase of your training, without allowing your newly acquired skill to recede. If you haven’t realized it by now, you have now mastered a great skill and are already well above your VFR peers. Later in your qualification and embarking on actual IFR flights, you should have already realized how essential this skill is. In busy airspace, typically Class B, “Air Traffic Control” takes altitude deviations very seriously, an altitude deviation could cause a violation. At the very least, one call to the control tower.

Instrument flight rules and instrument training should not be taken lightly.

How the donation for tax benefit works

It’s the time of year when everyone is doing their best to figure out how to take advantage of tax benefits or, as a layman would say, how to save taxes. People opt for one of several tax saving options, such as claiming interest and major components of their home loan, life insurance premiums, medical expenses, etc. What most people don’t realize is that one of the simplest options is to donate to charities, as it not only entitles you to a 100% tax deduction, but it also helps you contribute your bit. sand for a cause.

Donate and save taxes

According to the Income Tax Act, charities are eligible for exemption from income tax under Section 11. Similarly, donors are entitled to tax benefits under Section 35AC, Section 80G, the Section 80GGA, etc.

35AC / 80GGA: If your source of income is a business or profession and you are donating to an institution approved by the National Committee (Ministry of Finance) to carry out any eligible project or scheme, then you have the right to claim 100% of the deduction of the amount of your gift under Section 35AC. Assessors whose source of income is not commercial can claim a deduction for this contribution under section 80 GGA.

80G: Under Section 80G, a 100% or 50% tax deduction can be claimed depending on the purpose and the agency you are helping. If you are donating to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund and other funds specifically listed in the IT Act, you are entitled to a 100% tax benefit.

Donations to other non-governmental organizations that are registered with the Income Tax Department as eligible to collect donations with the benefit of section 80G, are eligible for a 50% deduction for tax purposes.

Charities use these provisions of the Income Tax Act to encourage donors.

What institutions are eligible?

Be careful, as tax benefits can only be claimed through donations to certain institutions / non-governmental organizations. It is the prerogative of the Central Government to approve the specific program of charities in benefit of section 35AC / 80GGA.

How do tax deductible donations work?

Suppose your taxable income for that financial year is Rs 2.00,000 and you make a donation of Rs 5,000 to a charity program approved under section 35 AC, then your net taxable income will be reduced to Rs 1.95,000 and your tax will be calculated about this amount. The institution you have helped will issue you a certificate for your contribution, which you can then use to claim exemption from taxable income. Simply put, the exemption works by reducing the donated amount of your taxable wages.

In the end, considering that non-profit organizations are playing an important role in bringing about social and economic change in the country, it is important that they receive support from all sectors. This is where you come into the picture. You can introduce yourself and contribute. Your support will help reach more beneficiaries and bring about much-needed change in society.

Choosing the perfect flooring for your home is a matter of personal choice. There are many more options available on the market and an expert can help you sort through them to choose the best option for your home and lifestyle.

FOSS V FORD – Re-alignment of Canadian Automotive History

Inventors can affect generations to come, often changing the way we do things and defining historical eras. Accounts of inventors’ achievements and stories about their lives are kept with interest and for posterity. Historians look for evidence and facts so that the achievements of these inventors are accurately reflected in documents found in libraries, archives, and museums.

While we were working on two events recently, we were able to casually ask members of the general public if they knew who invented the first gasoline car in Canada. It may not surprise you to learn that the majority of respondents believe that Ford was the first carmaker in Canada. Of course, Ford has the advantage of brand recognition and longevity. However, Ford was not Canadian and neither did it build the first gasoline car in Canada.

The latest release of the academy award-winning film, Ford v Ferrari, renewed the recognition that in the mid-1960s, the Ford brand was a force to be reckoned with. The momentum of this film has created an opportunity for the Foss family to bring to light a part of Canadian history that is often overlooked. You see, the inventor of the first gasoline car in Canada was not Ford, but it was in fact the lesser known Foss. Foss built the Fossmobile in 1897, around the same time that Ford invented the Quadracycle in the United States. The first Ford cars were not distributed in Canada until the early 1900s. So in the late 1800s it was Ford v Foss.

Recognition for this pioneering piece of Canadian history has been buried and lost for too long in Ford’s shadow. The Foss family has recently rekindled among Canadian historians and vintage car enthusiasts an interest in celebrating the accomplishments of George Foote Foss, the original inventor of Canada’s first successful gasoline car.

The Ford v Ferrari rivalry demonstrates how competition, coupled with vision, personal conviction and collaboration, can lead to breakthroughs in automotive innovation. As we see in the movie, in the mid-1960s, American automotive designer Carroll Shelby collaborated with his precision-focused friend, British racing driver Ken Miles. Together, they embraced the goal set by Henry Ford II, to beat Ferrari by making a faster race car. They took a collective vision to defy the laws of physics in the racing world and cautiously avoided corporate interference to build a revolutionary vehicle for Ford Motor Co. The plan was to go head-to-head against Enzo Ferrari’s race cars in the races. 24 hours of Le Mans, in France. After years of Ferrari dominance, his vision came true. In 1966 the Ford GT 40 won, occupying the three positions of the podium: first, second and third.

The story of the Fossmobile may not have the dynamism needed for the plot of a blockbuster movie, but it deserves attention, for its historical relevance. Long before Ford sold cars in Canada, the original Fossmobile was built by George Foote Foss, in a dusty little bike repair and mechanic shop, in Sherbrooke, Quebec in 1897. Like the main characters in the movie Ford v Ferrari , Foss had vision and personal conviction. He enlisted the help of three workmen and turned to Sherbrooke’s Iron Works Company, who helped him make the initial castings for the engine he designed. He designed parts from scratch, combining his intuition for thinking outside the box with his machining and bike repair skills. Foss persevered until he got something that could be driven through the hilly streets of Sherbrooke.

It is well documented that he drove this invention for four years, long before other cars appeared in the area. George Foss features Henry Ford on more than one occasion, to discuss the notion of building cars together. Eventually, Foss rejected Ford, feeling that the two had different personality styles and visions.

The Foss family continues to raise awareness of Foss, the first Canadian inventor of gasoline cars, by speaking at events and organizing information booths. Their largest and most significant project to date is the rebuilding of a tribute / replica of the original Fossmobile. This project involves a significant amount of fundraising to make this vision a reality.

It was disappointing to hear that most of the people we spoke to at recent events assumed that Ford was somehow responsible for Canada’s first car. This illuminated the need to look beyond the now known Ford v Ferrari legacy, into the more distant past of the original Ford v Foss legacy, at least here in Canada. In the last paragraph of the preface to the book “Cars of Canada”, Durnford / Baechler (1973, McClelland and Stewart Limited), you will find the following;

“A universal misconception is the claim that Ford was the first Canadian carmaker. For years, John Moodie wrongly claimed to have imported the first car into Canada. UH Dandurand claimed to have had the first car in Montreal, but did not. And That’s right. Many sacred legends are unfounded. “

Some 47 years later, these myths seem to continue, particularly that of Ford. There is no question that Henry Ford and Ford v Ferrari proudly belong to the American history books. However, here in Canada, the man we should recognize as the original builder is George Foote Foss. The recounting of this important Canadian historical legacy may eventually dispel the myth that Ford was the first to own a gasoline car in Canada. It is our responsibility as Canadians to embrace the important part of this quiet builder’s Canadian automotive history and not let the giant Ford overshadow his legacy.

The original Fossmobile tribute / replica is being carefully and painstakingly built to help shed light on this historic feat. The Foss family has taken on the enormous task of overseeing this project. A team has been put together to execute every detail and the project is on track to be completed. The goal is for this tribute / replica car to be placed in a Canadian museum, so that visitors can have a better chance of appreciating this important Canadian achievement. The Fossmobile Tribute car and supporting memorabilia will help to more clearly rectify Canadian automotive history and reestablish what was and is Foss v Ford, as the first gasoline carmaker in Canada.

How to add administrators to business profiles and groups on LinkedIn and Facebook

As your small business grows and you begin to outsource parts of your operations, you may consider hiring a Virtual Assistant (VA) to help you monitor your social media activity. At that point, instead of distributing your personal passwords at will, you can grant and remove administrative access to your business accounts on Facebook and LinkedIn to your assistant at your leisure.

While this is a very quick and easy process once you know how to do it, the links to do it are not always in the most logical places. So this article will help you add another admin to your Facebook page; your Facebook group; your LinkedIn group; and your company’s profile on LinkedIn.

However, before you begin, to be able to do any of these, you must be an administrator of the page or group in question. If you created the page or group, you will be the default administrator; If you didn’t, you will need to be added as an administrator to the page or group by someone who is.

I. Add administrators to your Facebook page

  1. Log in to Facebook and navigate to your company page.
  2. In the upper right corner, below the dark blue Facebook header ribbon, you will see a button that says “Edit Page.” Below that, you will see a box titled “Administrators” (this box is only visible to administrators, not your fans. If you don’t see this box, you are not an administrator and therefore will not be able to follow the remaining instructions). .) Click on “View All” to the right of where it says “Administrators”.
  3. This will take you to a new page where you will see a list of current admins for your Facebook page, with a blank space for you to add a new one. If you are a friend of the administrator on Facebook, just write his name in the box. If you are not friends with them, you must enter the email address they used to create their Facebook account. People tend to have more than one email address now, so it’s important to double-check.
  4. Click “Save Changes”. You will be asked to enter your Facebook password.

II. Add administrators to your Facebook group

  1. Log into Facebook and navigate to your group page.

  6. Scroll to the top of the page and click “Publish.”

Easy peasy!

Top Ten List on Why Preschool Matters

There are several reasons why it is a good idea to send your child to preschool. The following is a look at ten reasons why preschool is important:

Reason one: Preschool helps prepare children academically for kindergarten. Most preschools focus on learning letters, numbers, shapes, days of the week, etc. When a child goes to preschool, he learns the basics, the things he must know before going to kindergarten if he is to be successful academically.

Reason two: Preschool helps children learn to interact in groups. Many preschoolers have not had a meaningful experience working in a group dynamic, having to share both items and attention. Preschool is an excellent structured environment where children learn to interact in groups.

Reason three: Preschool helps children learn to be away from their parents without anxiety. Many children suffer from separation anxiety when they enter kindergarten if they haven’t had something that took them away from their parents at regular intervals throughout the week. Preschool is a great precursor to something longer and more everyday.

Reason furnace: Preschool helps children learn to socialize appropriately in a school setting. For many children the idea of listening when someone else is speaking and raising your hand to speak or make a comment is strange. This can lead to a lot of disciplinary problems when they enter the regular school system if they don’t get some practice.

Reason Five: Preschool expands your child’s exposure to outside germs. While this may sound rude, it is important that a child begins to develop immunity against the different viruses that abound in public. Exposure to the little colds and insects of youth can strengthen your child’s immune system in the long run.

Reason six: Preschool helps children learn that there are authority figures outside their home to whom they must respect and listen. It gives them some experience by having a teacher they learn from and a parent helping them reinforce the things the teacher teaches.

Reason Seven: Preschool helps children learn to share attention with their peers. For many children, the only person or persons with whom they have to share care are their siblings and family members. When they want the attention of mom or dad, they just talk to them. In school, several students must share the attention of a single teacher. Preschool is a great place for a child to learn this, as classes tend to be smaller and there are fewer students competing for the spotlight.

Reason Eight: Preschool helps children learn to be more independent, especially in things like going to the bathroom, putting on coats and shoes, etc. Because mom and dad are not to depend on, children learn to use skills that they would not otherwise have. This is an important part of growing up, and a parent often does not recognize that they are stunted.

Reason Nine: Preschool prepares children for consistent schedules when they are in school. When a child enters kindergarten, he cannot stay up as late as he wants, or wake up whenever he wants, etc. they have to learn to follow a schedule. Preschool helps children to adjust to this and to realize that when they are in school they cannot just eat and play when they want, but must wait for the right moments.

Reason ten: Preschool helps children learn some academic and social responsibility. They learn to keep track of their backpacks and artwork, do homework, etc.

Macroprosopus, reflections and the codes of Isis

“Both up and down.”

The Macroprosopus symbol provides an intuitive guide to how what is above is also like below. It can also be used as an intuitive guide in creating the Garden of Eden, the hidden matrix that is guarded by the Flaming Sword and Cherub, or the rabbinic “tree of life.” Ultimately, reflections or mirrors are at the very heart of the Illuminatus system.

This article will provide some reflections on the “reflections” and mirrors used by the Illuminatus and within the Isisian Codes.

Mirrors and reflections

We have already discussed the nature of IXXI, or “9-11”, and how this is used as a fundamental code for what is considered to be “The Garden of Eden”. 9-11, or IXXI, provides us with the pattern of formation, but provides little in the way of the archetypal encoding of the various cipher wheels (sephira) and relevant paths. In the Macroprosopus diagram, for example, we can see that the IXXI is encoded in the image and that there is a division of the letters along the horizontal center and therefore forms a conceptual “mirror” or “reflection”.

Also, what is floating in the sky, such as in the middle of the Star of David and the full Tau or letter T, is reflected in the water.

This “mirror”, or component of reflection, is necessary if we want to find the archetypal base of the Philosopher’s Stone or, more exactly, the “Garden of Eden”. IXXI allows us to form only the appropriate geometric matrix. However, it is not enough to simply secure the actual geometric matrix; rather, since the geometric matrix serves as a roadmap of the human psyche in Jung’s classical thought, it becomes critical and necessary to correctly place all the symbols within the various cipher wheels (sephira), as well as to correctly number the symbols. channels between the various cipher wheels or sephira.

Even after you’ve done all of this, you need to go back to work and do all the “math” checks, so to speak. My original matrix for the Garden of Eden, for example, had a bug that was not resolved for almost 2 years. Therefore, solving the archetypal or hidden framework requires a lot of work and double checking before publication to ensure that the intuited answers are really accurate and correct.

All of this is precisely the same as the inherent nature of the Construct, and the way that immersion in the Construct creates conditions by which it is easy to be fooled.

Mirrors, or reflections, play a fundamental role in the formation of reality. For example, when we see the Moon, which is a symbol of the Occult, it is stronger than the Sun because its light can still shine during the day when even the Sun reigns supreme. What this implies is that the Moon can reflect light from the Sun and shine even when the Sun is also shining and when the Sun is not. Conceptually, the Moon, as a symbol of the Occult, has a light that is stronger than the Sun because the Occult is using the Sun and the Sun’s reflection alike. You are not using one exclusively on top of another, instead you are using direct sunlight, but more importantly, reflected light from the Sun.

For the dark side of the Occult (the path to the left), its reflection is that of the CLOUD. Inside the word CLOUD is the anagrammatic game of the word HIDDEN. Since T = D, we just encrypt CLOUT and CLOUD and OCULT (hidden). In this way, the Occult acts as a covering or a seal that blocks the Sun and Moon, or it can pass smoothly and not affect the light of the Sun or Moon at all, or it can partially obscure the Sun and Moon. . Even stronger is the anagrammatic play of the word HIDDEN to form the word CLOUD. The word CLOUD shows a reflection of STRONG and yet the clouds are silent, so we are reminded that the force of the “cloud”, or the Occult, is even stronger, since it can erase the light of the Sun at its highest point. .

From a conceptual point of view, we simply recognize that our existence here on Earth is subject to many influences and occlusive forces, of which the “clouds” act as a beneficial or harmful force depending on the force and duration of the influence. . Clouds, or “the hidden,” can change the colors of the light reflected by the Moon as it reflects light from the Sun, while the Moon changes phase and reflects increasingly larger or diminishing shadows of light.

It is only the path to the left that seeks to completely obscure, even when we recognize that all things are obscured in some way.

If we imply that being loud is so “overwhelming” what others can hear, then we have a reflection of the power of the Occult in this world and therefore we must pay attention to the force and learn from its reflections, because in the end, it is only the reflections that we can see, and not the actual workings, as the words and deeds were set in place.

Mirrors as a hidden staple

The “Macroprosopus” image is designed to hint at the use of reflections and mirrors as part of the primary conceptual basis and that these reflections and uses of them must be thoroughly understood if a perception of the conceptual is to be gained.

All “gods” participate in the essence of Osiris, and Osiris, like the letter A, manifests as himself in a “material form” similar to the mythology of Christianity. Osiris as the letter A provides us with the conceptual tools to begin to narrate the fabrication of “reality”, hidden or otherwise. Pi is “the Word”. This means that there is a division and separation in which the 1s are men and the 0s are women, that each has its own unique and separate existence, but that the 1 and the 0 are not mutually exclusive of the other, in that the 0, female, is created by the 1 of the male. This is basic “intercourse” or “sexual union”, or “the letter X”.

X = SEX, however, the X is a reflection of the woman on the man. This reflection provides an intuitive insight to understand the nature of Geb and Nut of the Egyptians. Geb and Nut are nothing more than an artistic representation of the letter X, of the sun entering the womb of the Earth or in the sky.

However, all of this is “technically” or “fundamentally” linked to Pi.

If you look at design, and in this we mean the design of the human body, because it is also designed around the idea of Pi, or the “Word”, the visual shape of the vagina shows a correlational “1”. when “closed”, while the male phallus shape shows a correlational “0” when viewed from “the tip”. It is through the cardinal conceptual twist of two-dimensional design that we can arrive at the proper perspective of three-dimensional reality in which, in this case, the “1s” as men correctly appear to the mind as “men” and the “0s.” they are conceptually appearing in the mind as correctly designed as “women.”

In this way we can begin the process of conceptualizing inherent design and begin to understand what is “true” and what is “false”, what is the “mirror” and what is “current”.

Another way of looking at this is to use occult reference material, which today is unnecessarily and intentionally confusing and “mystical.” For example, the Sepher Yetzirah, or “Book of Formation,” reads as follows:

“These twenty-two letters, which are the foundation of all things, he arranged as on a sphere with two hundred and thirty-one gates, and the sphere can rotate forward or backward, either for better or for worse; from good comes true pleasure, of evil nothing but torment “. – In this example, the sphere can be rotated one way or another.

Imagine it as a ball sitting on the ground. I write the number 6 and then I turn the ball 180 degrees. You see my 6 as a 9. Then I write a number 9 on the ball and turn it 180 degrees again. Now you have two 6s or two 9s, depending on how you see them AND assuming you knew how to see numbers “this way or that”. If I say that the number is a 6, and I write the number as a “6”, and you tell me that the number is a “6”, and therefore we both agree that the number is a 6, then what being discussed is “true” and therefore “good”.

However, if I write the number 6 and you tell me that the number is a “6” and yet I deliberately mislead and say that the number is a 9, then I have reversed the number and therefore “wicked”, or a “lie,” he continues. Since there are no additional context points for you to see reality as it exists at the time, you have no way of really knowing if the number is a 6 or if it is a 9.

Now expand this concept to multiples of glyphs (letters, etc.) and spin the multiples of glyphs as if you were on a sphere while sitting in the center of the sphere while immersed in total emptiness. This is how complex and complicated everything can be.

The Universe is incredibly complex in its simplicity.

Context as a critical component

Therefore, the “context” is essential to understand the precision of what is being seen in relation to a Letter and, especially, in terms of how one sees and narrates the hidden insignia and mythologies. For example, in the above view of Macroprosopus as shown above, there is a “T” reflected in the water and yet there is an “inverted T” floating in the air, and therefore reflected in the water is the letter Derivative T. from the reverse T in the air.

This point of view is “true” from a hidden sense, but why? Therefore, the principle of “know yourself” means that you must focus on certain truths and determine them for yourself, even if guidance is provided along the way.

In other words, it is not enough to understand that what is “above” is “as below”: it is essential that a person understands inverting the image above and analyzing it as if it were inverted or vice versa. Therefore, ideas and images must be rotated “this way” and “that”, that is, rotated 180 degrees or flipped 180 degrees, rotated 45 degrees and flipped 180 degrees, read forward, but interpreted backwards, center out or in various combinations from the top

How “God” manifests cannot be so easily controlled by simplistic formulations, and arriving at deliberate and intentional codes cannot be assumed to be a simple and straightforward process. In the end, we are limited to the tools available to us through the constraints of design (material existence), so a wide range of tools using a wide range of interconnections is absolutely necessary to achieve an understanding of the whole.

When Plutarch says that Typhon tears the holy writings to pieces and scatters them to the wind, this is a very broad and accurate description, so we must see the Construct as a giant puzzle, which, like Humpty Dumpty, we are trying to rebuild. to get back together again so that we can overcome ignorance and delusion and create for ourselves a world and a society where our spiritual foundation is rooted in a form of reason that is impervious to ignorance.

The main point to remember is that the Illuminatus use and utilize a wide range of reflections and mirrors in their system, so if you are going to penetrate their philosophical system (a system that belongs to all of us), it is critical that the idea of Mirrors and reflections fully understood.

  1. Eat colorful fruits that have water and vitamins. Include them in your daily diet plan.
  2. Make sure to cut down on your salt intake. Salt crystals are naturally attracted to water molecules. Therefore, try to avoid salt.
  3. Try to avoid sugar.
  4. Snacks and salty sauces also contribute to weight gain. Avoid them.

I hope this helps. Thanks!

The History of Transcription and the Productivity of Law Firms

Whether the documents reside as paper in a customer’s red well or as electronic files on a computer, the process of their creation has changed little over time – someone writes them. In fact, along with dictation, typing has been a mainstay of the business process not only in the legal industry, but also in American businesses for decades.

Until the 1970s, the dictation-to-transcription process generally meant a secretary sitting in the same room with her “boss,” physically writing down each spoken word in a notebook using shorthand. After this time-consuming task, he would travel to his desk and typewriter and transcribe his notes as a first draft. The attorney did the revisions by hand and the document was rewritten from scratch on a new sheet of paper until the end, when it was last typed from scratch on letterhead, usually with multiple carbon copies. I’m sure anyone who grew up in the PC age can’t even imagine writing the same base document over and over again, but that’s how it was done!

In the late 1970s, the introduction of two pieces of office automation dramatically improved the document generation process: the cassette recorder and the electric word processor.

Rather than tying up a secretary for hours, a tape recorder allowed lawyers to dictate a tape which was then given to their secretary to transcribe throughout the day or, for larger documents, to the firm’s word processing department. . With the introduction of recorded dictation, the productivity of law firms skyrocketed! Secretaries could answer phones and handle administrative tasks while transcribing, and lawyers enjoyed the new freedom of being able to “work” independently from their secretary and even from the office, as long as they had their portable tape recorder, batteries, and new tapes that they could produce and produce. get “job done.

The next process improvement, or electric word processors, eliminated double-entry work from typewriter documents, and law firms embraced this “new in” technology with open arms. Leading the way was Corel’s WordPerfect®, which was created specifically for law firms and DOS, long before Windows and the far inferior (IMHO) Microsoft® Word were even a thought. To this day, WordPerfect’s Fkey functions remain in my memory and its Reveal Codes function makes it an “intuitive” application for most beginners.

The next improvement in the document generation process will undoubtedly be recognized as the leap from analog to digital dictation and the options that are later available.

It’s hard to imagine, but this relatively minor change in the way dictators produce work can bring many benefits to everyone, from the dictators’ ability to work from any internet or phone connection; to the ability of human resources staff to track and monitor the actual work in progress in a company; to the flexibility to send files “at home” or to reduce costs, to a transcription provider or Virtual Assistant.

While it is true that in today’s world many lawyers write their work while sitting behind their keyboards, if a lawyer has enough computer knowledge and can type at a decent speed with all fingers (OK, 8 is fine too! !), Then Cut and Paste previously created documents and other software enhancements, this method of creating documents can be an efficient use of time. However, since all attorneys ‘time is typically billable, it could be argued that less competent attorneys should not draft documents via keyboard, otherwise clients end up paying for administrative tasks at attorneys’ fees. Also, you need to pay close attention to metadata (the information hidden in documents) when cutting and pasting.

Just as music and video have moved away from “tapes”, so will dictation. The dictation / transcription process is still the best method to get the job done and upgrading to digital is truly unavoidable. It is said on the street (aka LegalTech NY) that analog transcription machines will soon be in short supply and small tapes will start to rise in price. If you see that, you know that the time to research digital equipment is near. Also, if your current equipment breaks down, really consider upgrading to digital. Everyone in your company will be happy that you made the change, including yourself.

My recommendation is products with a Philips or Olympus slide switch that are ordered through Bret Williams at www.AmericanDictation.com. Bret is an Authorized Reseller who is happy to offer preferential pricing and free shipping on orders over $ 200 just to mention “LegalTypist” .;)

As I try to follow the motto my dear mom instilled in me when I was little: “If you don’t have something nice to say … don’t say anything,” I feel compelled to be cautious. they would be the enhancers of Sony products. I’ve had nothing but trouble with their proprietary file types and dictators report that their buttons and functions are nearly impossible to understand. For those used to dictating on tape, I recommend models with a slide switch like the Phillips 9600, so it feels like a tape drive but without the tape! For those who are new to dictation, there are less expensive models that use buttons on the front, rather than the slide switch. I generally recommend these digital dictation units provided in the middle for those of what I call the “Game Boy” generation.

Above Ground Pools – Fix All Metal Sidewall Problems

This page will explain all kinds of steel sidewall repairs, here are a few: rusted sidewall around the skimmer or return jet, rusted to the breaking point, and actual wall rupture.

Well let’s get started, we’ll start with the most common of all sidewall problems and it will rust around the skimmer and return jet. The first thing to do is to drain the pool about six inches below the skimmer or return jet, while the pool is draining remove the top rails above and on both sides of the skimmer, you may have to remove two sections on either of the two. side of the skimmer or return jet. Once done, remove the coping (piece of plastic that holds the liner in place). At this time, the pool should be sufficiently drained to remove the skimmer or return jet from the side wall. (All references to the skimmer, return jet and holes in the side wall will be referred to as the skimmer)

Now all is done, gently pull the liner up and over the side wall and expose the rusted or damaged skimmer hole. Next you determine how much you have to cut to get rid of the rust, for example, let’s say you determine that you are going to need to cut a 12 “by 12” hole, then you will need a 2 “x 2” piece of galvanized metal. to cover the 12 X 12 hole. Galvanized metal must be at least the same thickness or the next size. If you’re not sure, take a piece of the wall you cut out to size.

OKAY! You have the galvanized metal and you are ready to put it in place, so all you have to do is cut the hole for the skimmer, you can use the skimmer as a template to cut the hole. The next step is to position the replacement part so that the skimmer hole is level; the easiest way to do this is to measure from the top of the side wall to the replacement on both sides, the measurement should be the same. Then use some masking tape to hold it in place. A little trick to prevent all those metal filings from getting between the wall and the siding is to put a ground magnet on the bit while drilling and use a medium speed on your drill and the magnet won’t fall off. Once in place you can prepare your drill and rivets, the size of rivets you need to use is 3/16 to 1/4-inch, get a large box because you will space them 1-inch apart.

Let’s continue with the design of the perforation, with a tape measure make a line 1 inch inwards from all edges and a second line 3 inches inwards, now on the one inch line make a hole in each of the corners , next to each corner hole you measure 1 inch both horizontally and vertically. Now from here we measure three inches from each corner hole and drill another hole, but before we drill any more holes we want to put in a couple of rivets to hold the replacement solidly in place. As you noticed the holes are two inches apart, continue from each corner to the center.

Now for the three inch line we put one hole in the corner and one hole in each direction two inches from the corner hole, if you got it right it should be between two rivets on the one inch line so that all rivets are staggered. . Once you have all the rivets in place, you can drill the holes for the skimmer. The final step is to tape all the metal edges so that there is nothing sharp that can pierce the siding when it is put back in place. Now all that’s left to do is put everything back together as it was undone.

This concludes the instructions for repairing rust around the pool skimmer and return jet and any holes in the side wall. For instructions on how to replace an entire section, read on.

God forbid you have actually had a blowout, if your siding is ruined then it is an easy task to take it out and repair the section before putting in a new siding, if you were lucky and your siding stretched a bit then things will they get a little more complicated. If you were very lucky, you probably noticed a weak spot in the wall and checked it and realized that it would soon need repair. If any of these scenarios fit your problem, then the remedy is at hand. Keep reading.

First, you will need to remove about half of the top pool rails. Of course, if you are replacing the liner, they all need to come off. Then remove the coping and lift the liner over the side wall. Now depending on the size of the hole, you will need two additional feet of galvanized metal the same size in height as the existing metal. Cut out the rusted piece and attach your new piece. Now from the end of the new sheet of metal, measure three inches and mark a line from top to bottom at both ends, and a similar line nine inches from the ends.

Also, make sure your lines don’t line up with one of your uprights, if they slide your panel one way or another so they don’t line up, that’s fine, starting from the top, measure an inch down on the line of three inches and two inches down on the nine-inch line and mark a hole, and continue on both lines two inches apart until you reach the bottom. Drill three or four holes, then put some rivets inside out, you want the flat part to be on the inside of the pool, and then continue drilling. When you are done with the rivets, put some masking tape over them and the edge of the metal and put your pool back together. I hope these instructions have helped you enjoy your pool for years to come.
