thanksgiving football

fun and games they are always an unavoidable part of entertainment for young and old alike. People in the United States celebrate this festival of charitable giving through their avid participation in the game of football which brings waves of pure joy and delight in the hearts of multitudes of football fans who are crazed by football mania during this festive season. Through the years, football has become one with this joyful festival of Thanksgiving.

Many interesting traditions deeply permeate the Thanksgiving festival, such as the football game that complements this festival of revelry. Professional football was the latest of the contemporary trends to celebrate the spirit of Thanksgiving. In 1874, eleven years after Lincoln’s proclamation, the first intercollegiate football the game was played. Two years later the Intercollegiate Football Association was formed in the Northeast, which instituted a championship game primarily to amuse the people in Thanksgiving Day. Every year strong competitors such as Princeton and Yale vied with each other to take home the most coveted winner’s trophy. Players, students, and fans would wear their school colors as a representative brand with banners flying high from New York City carriages, hotels, and business establishments. Us Thanksgiving Day church services would end early to accommodate fans, and the game would kick off season celebration for New York’s social elite. It had gained such popularity that soon, by the mid-1890s, 120,000 athletes from colleges, clubs, and high schools participated in 5,000 thanksgiving football games across the country.

The custom of watching a football game on Thanksgiving Day has evolved during the first decades of the 20th century. As football made its way into the hearts of the people by winning the hearts of millions, giving it great popularity as early as the 1920s and 1930s, and earning the highly prestigious position it enjoys today, many people began to visit the football stadium to see the same. Big name teams playing for the world famous. Soccer League of America eventually established the tradition of playing nationally televised games on Thanksgiving afternoon. In addition to the conventional competition organized by the nationally recognized Soccer League in America, many high schools and colleges also host “Turkey Day“Football games over Thanksgiving weekend, often between regional or historic rivals. Thanksgiving football, played in schools and colleges across America, however, has now more or less faded into oblivion in most sections of the country and is kept alive in only two franchise cities of this world-renowned soccer league of americanamely, Detroit and Dallas, where thanksgiving football it is very much a way of life.

thanksgiving football it is most often associated with the Lions team and a tradition that has been popular since 1934 in the city of Detroit. The game has been the brainchild of GA Richards, the first owner of the team with Fierce Lion as quality players that make up the team. In fact, four generations of Detroiters have been a proud part of the American Thanksgiving celebration. Some 71 years later, fans residing in the state of Michigan transformed a local event into an annual holiday event, shaping it into the greatest tradition in Michigan history. American professional sports team. In fact no other team in professional Sports can pretend to be so apart from a american party like that team with ferocious lion like team of players with Thanksgiving. This team has hosted a game every Thanksgiving since 1934, with the exception of 1939-1944 due to World War II. The Dallas have also hosted football games every Thanksgiving. since 1966.

Thus, we find that it all saw its genesis in 1934 when a local radio executive, GA Richards, purchased the Spartans from Portsmouth, Ohio and moved the team to Detroit, the Motor City. Tea lions being a newcomer to town had taken a backseat to the Baseball Tigers in the sports pages. Richards had practical reasons for scheduling the game on Thanksgiving, as he was also smart enough to realize that the best way to publicize the team would be to go for the Thanksgiving contest to attract Motor City fans during the teams’ first season. . The fierce confrontation between the lions and the invincible World Champion, that is, the robust Bears from Chicago turned out to be an all time classic. Tea lions were exceptionally good with eight wins to back them up, taking them into their entry alongside the Bears with a mark of 10-1. But Chicago had an even better record holding a commanding position with 11 straight wins. The match then reached an interesting phase where a victory in the only fateful game would ensure if the lions will achieve a tie for first place with the Bears. Two weeks before that fateful game, 26,000 tickets were sold out for the “Turkey Day” clash at University of Detroit Stadium. Richards wasn’t bummed out by the last two losses, but rather pleased with the way his team performed in his first year. His faith and trust in the team was well rewarded when lions won the popular America’s of 1935 soccer league championship. The final game was scheduled for Thanksgiving when the Lions defeated the Bears 14-2 to take the Western Championship trophy. The radio, with its enormous advertising potential, was used as bait to attract an audience. Richards, along with the nationally recognized broadcasting company, established a network of 94 stations to broadcast the bear lions confrontation. Since then, the league has conventionally scheduled two nationally televised games on Thanksgiving, usually featuring the famous Football players from Dallas, one of the most successful and popular franchises in sports and the players from Detroit, one of the least successful.

2006 It will be the 87th season of the worldwide acclaimed football and is supposed to run from September 7 to New Year’s Eve, December 31. Ideally, three games are scheduled to be played on the Thanksgiving Day. In addition to the traditional annual game between the world-renowned football players from Detroit and Dallas home games on that day, the Kansas City Chiefs, who hosted games during their days in the American Football League, will revive that tradition at 2006 hosting the Denver players on Thanksgiving Day. All of these games are scheduled to be broadcast in prime time.

Friends and family from across the United States often prefer to huddle around their radio or television to watch the live broadcast of the game while eating the special dishes prepared to commemorate. Thanksgiving. Therefore, every Thanksgiving Day revives the old and classic tradition of enjoying a game of football as part of the celebration. For decades, football and Thanksgiving has established a strong bond, leading to an adrenaline rush.

The Extreme Triple Split Routine – Accelerated Results Require Accelerated Demands!

Triple split training will induce some I laughed size, but I must warn you, this is for the I laughed streak! You need at least 2 years of training experience (the more the better), plenty of free time, and the discipline to not only get through your training sessions, but also incorporate proper restoration, nutrition, and sleep. The triple split method involves three workouts each training day. For best results, you should choose two opposing body parts or movement patterns and sequence them in A1-A2 agonist-antagonist fashion. That means once you finish the first set of the first exercise, you move on to the first set of the second exercise and then go back and forth between the two exercises until you complete all sets. Aim for about 60 total reps per body part per training session for a total of about 200 reps for that body part per day.

In this routine, you’ll notice that the first workout has a slower eccentric component but you rest more between sets; while the later sessions have slightly faster eccentric tempos with lower rest intervals.

The parameters look like this: 1st workout: 10 sets x 6 reps at 5-0-1-0 pace, rest interval 90 seconds 2nd workout: 8 sets x 8 reps at 4- 0-1-0, 75-second rest interval 3rd workout: 6 sets x 10 reps at 3-0-1-0 pace, 60-second rest interval Okay, enough talking, let’s get to the routine.

Day 1 (Workout 1) – Back and Chest
A1) Medium grip pull-ups
A2) Low Incline Bar Press 10 sets x 6 reps at 5-0-1-0 pace, 90-second rest interval

Day 1 (Workout 2) – Back and Chest
A1) EZ Bar Bent Over Row (Supinated)
A2) Lying Dumbbell Press (Neutral) 8 sets x 8 reps at 4-0-1-0 pace, 75-second rest interval

Day 1 (Workout 3) – Back and Chest
A1) Seated Cable Row (Neutral)
A2) High Incline Cable Flyes (Pronation) 6 sets x 10 reps at 3-0-1-0 pace, 60 second rest interval

Day 2 (Workout 1) – Quads and Hams
A1) Front squat
A2) Lying leg curl (neutral feet) 10 sets x 6 reps at 5-0-1-0 pace, 90-second rest interval

Day 2 (Workout 2) – Quads and Hams
A1) Back Squat (Heels Elevated)
A2) Romanian semi-rigid legged deadlift 8 sets x 8 reps at a pace of 4-0-1-0, rest interval 75 seconds

Day 2 (Workout 3) – Quads and Hams
A1) Seated leg extension
A2) Russian Good Morning 6 sets x 10 reps at 3-0-1-0 tempo, 60 second rest interval

Day 3 – free

Day 4 (Workout 1) – Triceps and Biceps
A1) Close Grip Bench Press
A2) Scott EZ-Bar Reverse Curls 10 sets x 6 reps at 5-0-1-0 pace, 90-second rest interval

Day 4 (Workout 2) – Triceps and Biceps
A1) Parallel bar dips
A2) Incline Hammer Curl 8 sets x 8 reps at 4-0-1-0 tempo, 75-second rest interval

Day 4 (Workout 3) – Triceps and Biceps
A1) Reverse Grip Standing Pressdowns
A2) Seated Dumbbell Curl 6 sets x 10 reps at a pace of 3-0-1-0, rest interval 60 seconds

Day 5 (Workout 1) – Abs and calves
A1) Sicilian Crunch
A2) Standing calf raises 10 sets x 6 reps at a pace of 5-0-1-0, rest interval 90 seconds

Day 5 (Workout 2) – Abs and calves
A1) High Pulley Twist Crunch
A2) Donkey Calf Raise 8 sets x 8 reps at 4-0-1-0 tempo, 75-second rest interval

Day 5 (Workout 3) – Abs and calves
A1) Supine cable pulls
A2) Seated Calf Raise 6 sets x 10 reps at 3-0-1-0 pace, 60-second rest interval

Day 6 – free

Replay Note: Tempo refers to the speed of movement and is represented by a 4-digit number: Eccentric (negative) contraction – Isometric contraction (pause between negative and positive) – Concentric (positive) contraction – Isometric (pause between positive and negative) contraction. For example, a tempo of 5-0-1-0 means lower the weight to a count of 5, no pause at the bottom, raise the weight to a count of 1, no pause before starting the next rep.

Try to take two naps between workouts, that is, one nap between workouts 1 and 2 and the second nap between workouts 2 and 3. A trick I learned from Olympic strength coach Charles Poliquin that is particularly helpful during triple split routines is to use whey isolate with grape juice, maltodextrin and corn flakes or rice chex in a blender immediately after training. He will be asleep (actually, you can think of it as a mild coma) within 15 to 20 minutes. Wake up; eat a solid meal; and train an hour later. It’s that easy! To achieve success in this program, you must follow the instructions below:

  • Eat a minimum of 7 meals a day every 2.5 hours.
  • You should consume 2 grams of protein per pound of body weight and up to 15 grams of fish oil every day.
  • Consume 3 post-workout shakes on training days but none on non-training days; in other words, it is better to eat your food than to drink it.
  • Get plenty of BCAA’s both before and during your workouts (at least 20 grams per workout).
  • Also plan restoration (i.e. massage, stretching, electronic muscle stimulation, contrast showers, salt baths, etc.)
  • Ideally, the first workout should be done within 3 hours of waking up and the second and third workouts should be done within 4-6 hours of the previous training session.
  • Don’t do the 2nd and 3rd workout every 3rd cycle, so you’ll only train once a day on the 3rd and 6th cycle of the workout.
  • Do the first workout 6 times and then switch to another routine.

If double split training can almost double the muscle glycogen content of a body part, can you imagine what triple split training can do? After just a few workouts, glycogen stores are so depleted that the body overcompensates by loading muscles with more glycogen than normal, leading to hypertrophy or size gain, but here’s the key: You must allow muscle growth to occur! supercompensation! And how do you achieve that? It’s called restoration. If you can’t set aside a good month to dedicate to this routine, don’t bother.

Trying to fit these workouts into a busy lifestyle will quickly lead to overtraining. It’s an ideal program for someone in their late teens or early twenties who still lives at home with mom and dad, has the summer out of school, and needs to bulk up. If you want to gain mass fast, then this routine will do the trick… but you’ll have to pay the piper! Expect to be extremely sore and tired all the time. It’s a month of hell, but if you follow the program exactly as directed, you will be rewarded for your efforts. Good luck!

Benefits of Getting Free Ebooks – Download PDF Ebooks

E-books have entered the market in this decade and they are here to stay, just like social media. Initially, when comparisons were made between the time children spent on the computer versus reading books, the statistics worried parents and teachers alike. However, the new option of downloading PDF e-books on PC solves a major problem faced by teachers, that is, guiding children towards reading books from an early age.

The great thing about e-books is that they are usually priced lower than hardcover versions, since you avoid the cost of shipping, publishing, any sales tax, etc. Once the rights are sold, a downloaded eBook can be passed from one child to another without any depreciation. That brings us to another unique benefit of free ebooks, they never get old, rot, break, stain, etc. Amazingly, they don’t even go out of date, so you don’t have to worry about a new version every time, like yearbooks that need to be bought again if a single new chapter is added. Since all writing and modification is done on the Internet, any new inclusion will be done online and you can easily download the new version.

Another great benefit is the availability of free e-books online. It’s amazing how good information is easily and freely available, with no hidden fees. You can find dedicated websites online that allow you to download free eBooks on a variety of topics. Kids can find free comic ebooks and free entertainment ebooks, like free Harry Potter ebooks, free music ebooks, free story ebooks, etc. High school students and college graduates can search for free law ebooks, free medical ebooks, free science ebooks, free business ebooks, etc. IT specialists will be more than relieved to find free networking eBooks, free Oracle eBooks, free Java eBooks, free Photoshop eBooks, free Linux eBooks, etc. You can easily download free e-books on networking and programming to create your own website using flash, Asp.net, vb.net, C++, etc. To get a basic understanding of website scripting, you can download HTML ebooks.

Harry Potter e-books are the most popular, not only among children, but also among adults. Math eBooks are there to learn approaches to problem solving with examples. Medical e-books are good for professionals who want to stay informed about the latest advances in medicine and the reasons and remedies for diseases. Those who want to improve their language skills can look for the free Oxford guide to learning simple words with explanations, sentence constructions, grammar, idioms and phrases, etc.

How to talk to the dead

I’ve been a believer in metaphysical things for a few years now and it still amazes me that dead doesn’t mean dead and that our “dead” loved ones are constantly with us. How reassuring is that. I’m not sure who this is attributed to, but I love the saying “the dead are more alive than the living.” I think that is so true. These are some of the ways that our deceased loved ones may be trying to communicate with us.

DREAMS

I have read that the dead communicate with us more through dreams. I have been lucky to have had one of those dreams. The difference between a regular dream and a real visit is that the visit will feel a thousand times more real. It’s like you’re awake instead of asleep. After having a visit I encourage you to write down everything you remember. Write your impressions, how the person looked, his features, gestures, what was his message? You’ll be amazed at how quickly these details fade as the day goes on. If you want to start the process, just before you go to sleep, ask a particular person to appear in a dream. You may want to send the request and the intention to remember the dream.

NATURE

The deceased love to communicate through nature. They can do this by sending you butterflies or red roses. You may notice a rainbow in the sky. If the person had a favorite thing about nature, like loving cardinals or enjoying caterpillars, you might start noticing cardinals and caterpillars everywhere. Remember that there are no coincidences in life. Trust your instinct. If you feel it was a message, believe with all your heart that it was. Remember, believing is seeing. You need to believe first and then you will see.

SONGS

The dead seem especially good at manipulating songs on the radio. Again, this is trusting your gut. Don’t be afraid to believe. Pay attention to the lyrics of the song. It could be something as simple as hearing your wedding song on the radio all the time or it could be not the song but the lyrics. Our spirit guides also like to communicate with us through music.

STRANGE OCCURRENCE IN THE HOUSE

Deceased loved ones are excellent when it comes to manipulating objects and electricity. Some people have even reported that their phone will ring but no one is on the other line. I once read a book where the deceased loved one had a real conversation on the phone. Isn’t it just amazing?! The deceased can make the lights go on and off. They can knock books off shelves or cause wall hangings to warp. He may begin to find pennies or even quarters in odd places like the refrigerator or silverware drawer. Again, don’t forget to trust your gut. If you are thinking that something is a communication, then believe with all your heart that it is in fact a deceased loved one trying to communicate with you.

SEE MIDDLE

This is a no-brainer that probably doesn’t even need mentioning. You don’t need to see a medium to communicate with a dead person. You absolutely can do it yourself. Once, during a reading, my deceased aunt joked with the medium that he was her amplifier. It works a bit like this. Using a medium will likely allow you to receive more information and a wider range of details. Just before the reading it helps to mentally ask that person to come forward during the reading.

Personality and Behaviors of Persian Cats

General description

Persian cats are beautiful, social and harmless companion animals. They are also called Iranian cats or Shirizi cats. The scientific name of this domestic animal is Felis catus. Persians have silky, shiny fur, a round face, bright eyes, and long hairs all over their bodies. Cats are generally famous for calm and sweet behaviors. They used to ask permission when entering to meet. Although the valid reason for his long hair is not known, however, scientists declared it to be the result of a natural mutation.

Source
In 1626, an Italian citizen, Mr. Pietro Della Valle, introduced a long-haired cat to Europe for the first time. It was probably brought to Europe by traders from the Middle East. Originally, these cats were known as Asian cats and were available in only one color. The credit goes to the Persian scientists, who developed their race. Now Persians are found in different colors, including bicolors.

Life expectancy
The average lifespan of this cat is fifteen years. More than 76% of cats live to be 12 years old and 52% of cats live 15 years or more. The veterinary department in England has stated that their average lifespan is 14 to 17 years. Persians generally weigh between 7 and 12 pounds.

Classification of the Persians
By the early 17th century, only one type of Persian cat had surfaced, developing over time. Today, there are more than 100 recognized types of Persians, which fall into the following four main groups:

1.Group-1. The cats of the first group have monochrome hair. His hair is the same color from tip to root.
2.Group-2. Persian cats of the second group have a suppressor gene.
3.Group-3. The cats of the third group have the Himalayan gene.
4.Group-4. The cats of the fourth and last group have the agouti gene.

type of persian cats
There are some differences between various international cat associations in the classification of Persians. All associations have their own opinion on origin, characteristics and classification. However, there are three main types of Persian cats i.e. Himalayan, Exotic and Persian. Some scientists have also narrated the following types:-
• Himalayas.
• Exotic.
• Persians and Angoras.
• Traditional Persians.
• Peke-face and ultra-typing.
• Toys and sizes of teacups.
• Chinchilla Long Hair and Sterling.
• Coloring.

Persian food
The Persian cat belongs to the Mammalia class and is a carnivorous animal. She feeds milk to her kittens. The Persians cannot sustain life without consuming meat in some form. Goat’s milk, pumpkin, fish and vitamin are the best food for Persians. Cats should never be given alcohol or alcoholic beverages, sugar and onions because it can cause serious health problems.

Persian diseases
Persians generally suffer from the following diseases:-
1. Breathing difficulties/problems.
2. Dental problems
3. Kidney diseases
4. Skin problems
5. Excessive tearing
6. Eye diseases
7. Fungal infection

Care and maintenance
The department explained the cause of death of the Persian cats. They are of the opinion that Persians have a large round skull, shortened face and nose, which creates breathing difficulties. Cats often suffer from breathing difficulties due to their facial structure. Furthermore, Persians have long hair, which needs regular grooming and maintenance to prevent matting. They should be bathed and carefully dried daily. Your eyes can be cleaned regularly to prevent eye diseases.

Personality and Behaviors
The Persian cat is a beautiful, calm, sweet and gentle pet. Enjoy the company of peaceful people. Persian cats are calm by nature but they also have a playful side. Cats have a strict feud with dogs.

Pre-Purchase Measures
Some important pre-purchase steps are as follows:-
1. Cost of the cat.
2. Color combination of Persians.
3. Maintain good relations with breeders.
4. Visit a CFA cat show.
5. CFA registered breed.
6. Be ready to bathe and brush every day.
7. Choice between cat flat face or traditional face.

Keeping cats in Islam
Islam is a complete religion and way of life, in which everything is clear. Islamic tradition and society has respected cats for their cleanliness. Islam has allowed cats to enter Muslim homes, mosques, and even the Masjid al-Haram. Islam has allowed Muslims to keep cats in the house without being harmful or impure (Najas). Cats are useful companion animals because they eat snakes, rats, and other harmful insects. The great Sahabi Abu Hurayrah (father of the kitten) was named for his love of cats.

Lease Agreement Template

Lease agreement templates are extremely difficult to find on the Internet. Most legal forms companies want you to pay for a subscription based format where you have access to all of your forms, or have the website you agree to on their site and get locked out. People who want a lease usually write them all the time and want access to a template they can use over and over again, but before we delve into where we can find these templates, let’s discuss what a lease is and the types of leases. leases out there.

The standard lease is the most common agreement among residential dwellings, it is a legal document between a person who owns a property (“Owner”) and someone who occupies the property (“Tenant”) in exchange for a monthly rent. The form can be for any amount of time, but most of the time you will see a term of one year. You cannot cancel this type of legal document, but if you lose your job or a special situation arises, you should talk to your landlord and try to negotiate some sort of deal.

The month-to-month lease is a legal document that allows a person who owns a property to let another person occupy the property in exchange for monthly rent, but there is no time limit on when the tenant must move out. A month-to-month agreement is unique in that the Tenant only has to give the Owner 30 days’ notice of when he wishes to vacate the property or make changes to the lease. The same applies to the Landlord, if the Landlord wants the Tenant to pay more rent, evict or make any other changes to the lease, a 30 day notice is required.

The sublease agreement is a legal document that allows someone who is already renting a property (sublessor) to let someone else occupy the property (subtenant) in exchange for monthly rent. This is the most complicated type of lease because you generally need the landlord’s permission to allow a sublease to take place. Unless you’re in a college dorm or have lost a significant amount of your income, landlords are hard-pressed to allow something like this to happen. In the event that you are the sub-tenant, you are still responsible for your lease with the landlord if the sub-tenant fails to pay rent or breaches your lease in any way.

The business model is your profit engine

Hatching a business idea involves much more than inspiration. Your entrepreneurial idea should also include a strategy to make the idea profitable. That strategy is known as the business model. The function of a business is to provide products and/or services that help customers solve their business or consumer needs. In addition, your business must work for you and generate a reliable and, ideally, abundant stream of income from which you derive your annual income.

Before we continue, let’s clarify the meanings of business model and business plan. Your business plan is a document in which you describe the mission of your business: the target customer groups; the market and competitive environment in which it will operate; your marketing, financial and operating plans; and the legal structure that will be given to it.

Your business model will detail how the company will achieve and maintain profitability. The cornerstone of a good business model is a competitive analysis, which will help you verify your target markets (customer groups) and establish your competitive advantage over other companies offering similar products and services.

The main ingredient of their competitive analysis is customer insight, an asset I often recommend aspiring entrepreneurs cultivate. Information gathering is a vital and ongoing business function. James King, director of the Small Business Development Center (state) in New York, notes that “customer buying patterns change pretty quickly, and if you’re not ahead of your customers, you’re not driving sales.”

Along with the selection of products and services to be provided by your company and your customer acquisition strategies, the operational aspects, that is, the process by which the products or services will be manufactured or acquired and made available to the market, must meet with expectations, often fluid. and for that reason, an operations component should be included in your company’s business model.

Once you’ve developed a draft business model, you may find it instructive to ask a trusted prospect or friend who owns a business who isn’t a competitor to give you feedback on what you’ve proposed. Discovering and immediately closing obvious gaps is something you’ll want to do before your business is up and running.

King recommends that aspiring entrepreneurs “sit down with someone who doesn’t have an ax to grind and ask them to poke holes in your model. If they do a good job, they’ll be better prepared for any eventuality. The more risk you can eliminate, the greater the chance.” for you to be successful.”

It is recommended that you review your business plan and business model every two years, or at least when changes in your industry, local business environment, or technology have the potential to affect your sales revenue or the way you do business. This practice will also give you the benefit of revising your projections against expected versus expected. real target customers and enable you to refine planning for growth and expansion, as you strategize for sustainable business success.

Former Major League pitcher offers pitching lessons

Former San Francisco Giant Pat Gomez now offers pitching lessons in the Sacramento area. Pat has been coached by some of the biggest names in baseball including Phil Niekro, Dick Pole, Jim Riggleman, Bruce Bochy, Dusty Baker and Leo Mazzone to name a few.

Pat is a 1986 graduate of San Juan High School, where in his final season, he struck out 110 batters in 70 innings of work. With a fastball that was consistently timed in the mid-90s, he was drafted that summer in the fourth round by the Chicago Cubs.

During his time in the minor leagues, he was a 2-time minor league All Star (Carolina League – 1989, Southern League – 1992). One of the best memories of him while in the minor leagues was being part of the historic 1992 Greenville Braves that won 100 games, a record that still stands. Pat’s contribution was a record of 7-0 with a surprisingly low ERA of 1.13. His reward was a call-up to the big leagues in time to be a part of the Atlanta Braves winning the NL West. They went on to win the National League Championship Series against the Pittsburgh Pirates (ask to see the ring!).

Getting to “The Show” is every player’s dream, which Pat definitely achieved in 1993 with the San Diego Padres. The 1993 roster included baseball greats like Fred McGriff, Trevor Hoffman, Gary Sheffield, Bruce Hurst and everyone’s favorite dad, Tony Gwynn.

The next two years took him to the San Francisco Giants, where he played alongside such legends of the game as Matt Williams, Robby Thompson, Dave Burba, Rod Beck, Darryl Strawberry, Willie McGee, Deion Sanders, Shawn Estes and Barry Bonds.

“Baseball has been one of my lifelong passions, from playing since I could throw a ball in the big leagues to coaching at local high schools. I learned a long time ago that pitching is so much more than just throwing the ball as hard as you can. you can”. . There is also a mental aspect that is rarely taught at any level.” Pat continued, “Let me share techniques and approaches to the game that I learned from some of the best players and coaches in baseball. You’ll be surprised how the pros approach the game, and it’s a big reason why some guys get to the next level and some guys don’t.”

One hour lesson – $65.00
Half hour lesson – $40.00

How to make postcard marketing work

In these Internet times, it’s easy to forget about direct mail. Sure, it’s free to email someone, but look at the low success rate.

Using postcards the right way

Postcard marketing can work to increase sales and get customers and prospects thinking of you. But you have to use the postcard for what it is and what it can do. And usually that’s not for sale.

But you are no longer limited to a 4×6 postcard. Postcards come as large as 12×15. That’s big enough for a restaurant to submit their menu. And in some situations, for things like seminars, it can be used to make the sale directly.

don’t let them forget

The postcard is great for getting and keeping your name in front of a customer. Real estate agents often use it for what they call farming: looking for new clients. Or to stay in front of the people they’ve done business with. They often use postcards in a method one vendor called “drip, drip, drip.”

As he said, “you keep dripping on them.” He suggested that agents make 12 postcards at the beginning of the year, hopefully with different images and slightly different messages, and then send one a month.

How an artist uses them

An artist made a postcard of one of her paintings on the front (that’s the side the painting usually has). On the back, she printed her name, website address, and title of the artwork, so that she could handwrite a short message and address to a potential customer, for example, the owner. from a gallery. Or she could just hand it over to someone.

you don’t have much space

The message of the postcard should be simple, settling on two or three points. Make a great offer. Ask a question or make a bold statement, something to spark interest. Offer a free report or an extra low price. Don’t make it one of those “tombstone ads” that don’t make an offer, the equivalent of a big business card.

Write a compelling headline. If you miss them in the headline, they’re gone, so spend some time on this. The way to write good headlines is to write lots of them. A headline can be long or short.

The picture

On the front of the card, you usually need a “lifestyle photo.” That’s an interesting photo, hopefully someone using your product or doing something related to it. Or it could be a stock photo, but just like the caption, spend some time finding the right one.

Many options

Postcards are slow to work, but in the right situation, they work very well. And there are many online companies that have a line targeting certain fields like dentists, chiropractors, and real estate.

You can mass mail them or have a supply in your briefcase and while you’re waiting for an appointment, write a customer or prospect in your own handwriting. Use them like the real estate guy said: drip, drip, drip.

Clear Creative Blocks Forever

When nature calls, you honor this call… right? But what can be done when the good old pipes are backed up? Yes… when your creativity is constipated, what can you do?

Tip to increase creativity #1: Sit on your “toilet” every day, so you can reclaim your “power to create and manifest.” There’s no need to use a plunger or any brute force to get your creative flow going again. Simply choose your favorite spot in your home (aka your sanctuary), free from visual, auditory, kinaesthetic, gustatory (such as food) and other distractions, and allow creativity to come to you. Conversely, if an environment with white noise sparks your creativity, choose to write or create at your local coffee shop or with music at home.

Creativity boosting tip #2: Jump around, you know like the House of Pain song? Do what I call a-bun-dance by dancing to your favorite songs or using your mini trampoline for 5-10 minutes. (You can find this inexpensive exercise equipment at your local store.)

Tip to boost creativity #3: For a minute, hang like a rag doll; make sure to keep your knees slightly bent. This stretch gets blood flowing back to your brain and increases your energy, focus, and creativity.

Tip to boost creativity #4: Consider entertaining this belief… that there is no such thing as a creative block. It is simply a figment of your imagination. Once you release this belief, you will reconnect with your creativity, which resides in the third chakra (energy center) of your body.

Tip to boost creativity #5: See the creative process as a practice instead of a game, where you win or lose, you will notice that it is much easier to access your creative flow.

Tip to boost creativity #6: Befriend and tap into your Inner Perfectionist… at the right time: when you’re proofreading and editing your copy, for example, not when you’re writing.

Tip to boost creativity #7: Ask the Universe for ideas and inspiration. All you need is patience and the willingness to see and welcome them once they reach you.

Tip to boost creativity #8: Be willing to delve into your area of expertise and emotions. Once you do, you will find that a wellspring of ideas and information will emerge for you. Don’t worry about being physically and emotionally clean and tidy while creating. After all, the more complicated the process, the more masterpiece you can create!

Creativity Booster #9: Use your favorite tool to create. That is, if you are a writer, you can always write using a pad of paper and a pencil equipped with an eraser. Or you can write your draft on your computer.

Creativity booster #10: Take a break from your creativity. Go on vacation or a long weekend and refrain from bringing any work (including creativity-related work) with you. Or change the scenery: drive to your local beach, hang out under a tree, fully breathe in all the beauty of your surroundings, and write with all your heart. As the saying goes, a change is as good as a break.
