How to make marketing FUN!

If you own your own business, you probably already know that consistent and focused marketing will be one of the most important factors in your success. It’s essential not only for acquiring new customers, but also to help you stay in touch with customers who are already doing business with you.

However, “knowing” that marketing is good for your business is much the same as “knowing” that exercise is good for your body. Sure you know you SHOULD do it, but sometimes you just don’t want to! Sometimes there are other things you’d rather do, like have lunch with the girls, read a good book, take a nap, or play a round of golf!

For those days when marketing is a little challenging, here are some of the strategies I use to get up to speed, get my marketing done, and most importantly, have fun doing it.

1. Reward yourself

Yes, I mean a bribe! For example, “If I make 10 cold calls this afternoon, I’ll schedule a massage for tomorrow.” Or, “If I can get two new clients this week, I’ll take a 3-day weekend next week.”

Give yourself a reward for buckling up and doing effective marketing. This strategy is especially effective when you feel particularly resistant. Knowing you’ll get that nice new TaylorMade golf club if you successfully attract five new customers this month can give you a little motivational boost.

2. Make it easy

If your marketing seems overwhelming, try doing just one thing. Make just ONE phone call. Research only ONE potential client’s website. Write only ONE thank you card. See how easy that is? You may be surprised to find that if you plan to do just ONE simple marketing activity, it feels like fun! When you only have one thing to do, there is no pressure, and when there is no pressure, it feels good. And once you’ve done that ONE thing, you’ll want to do one more.

3. Use good music

When I’m writing thank you cards, searching the internet for new client websites, packing CDs, or choosing gifts for my best clients from a catalog, I find that adding my favorite music to the marketing activity makes it so much more fun. I recommend creating radio stations on Pandora.com and pumping up your energy when you’re marketing to your favorite music.

4. Track your results

One of the most rewarding things about marketing is tracking the results of your efforts. For example, I will spend an afternoon cold-calling prospective clients with the intention of getting them to listen to my voice-over demos. And many times, at the end of the day, I find that 15 out of 20 calls resulted in customers agreeing to listen to my demos. So keep track of how your strategies are working, and then take the time to feel pleasant satisfaction with your results.

5. Visualize the conduct of your business

When you are marketing, remember that you are not only acquiring new clients who will help your business grow and prosper, but your skills and services will also help YOUR business grow and prosper. So take a moment and think about your “ideal thriving business.” Think about the bottom line you’re aiming for when contacting new clients or following up with your established clients. Imagine the mutual benefits you and your clients will experience when you have a rewarding professional association. Getting into the “good feeling place” of how good it is to benefit your business as well as yours.

6. Be personal

One thing I’ve done early on in my dubbing business is to be very “personal” in my approach to marketing and I encourage you to do the same. For example, an easy way to add a “personal touch” to your follow-ups is to be very careful in your selections of thank you cards or gifts. Has your customer mentioned that they love chocolate? Send him a small box of Godiva chocolates. Did your prospect mention that he just got back from New York and loves museums? Send her an art postcard or gift card. Listen carefully to what your customers and prospects are saying, and then tailor your marketing to them like you’re communicating with a good friend.

Again, here are my six tips to make your marketing time more fun. Is it so:

1. Reward yourself
2. Make it easy
3. Use good music
4. Track your results
5. Visualize the conduct of your business
6. Be personal

Put fun marketing on your daily or weekly schedule and just watch your business grow!

Top 6 Requirements for Pink Sheets Stock to Upgrade to NASDAQ

Many investors are unclear on the requirements of Pink Sheets shares and how they can be upgraded to the NASDAQ. To list on NASDAQ, companies must meet strict standards including being registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), acquiring at least three market makers for their securities, and maintaining minimum asset, capital, shareholder, and public share requirements. . Many companies choose to issue pink sheet penny stocks initially because the requirements to go from pink to NASDAQ are difficult or impossible to meet during the first few years of operation.

Here are the top 6 requirements for Pink Sheet stock to upgrade to a major stock exchange:

  1. Information requirements – To list on NASDAQ, companies that currently issue pink sheets must undergo strict SEC monitoring and reporting regulations. These disclosure requirements provide investors with a greater degree of confidence and serve as benchmarks for the company’s overall performance. These requirements are much more substantial than the listing requirements for pink listings on the OTCBB (Over the Counter Bulletin Board).
  2. Market makers – Typically, NASDAQ market makers deal with established companies and offer proven stocks to their clients. Emerging and declining companies may find it difficult to find market makers that meet the requirements to move from pink to the NASDAQ.
  3. Active – Companies that once listed shares on the NASDAQ may have the necessary asset levels, but may be unable or unwilling to provide the documentation required by the SEC to list on the NASDAQ. Some companies are delisted from NASDAQ on purpose.
  4. Capitalization – Pink sheet penny stocks generally do not meet NASDAQ’s capitalization requirements. Some startups can achieve this in a few years, but for many companies this is a long and complex process.
  5. Shareholders – Maintaining the required number of shareholders can be difficult for start-ups with limited investment opportunities and for companies that have had market difficulties in the past.
  6. Public Actions – The percentage of public shares vs. Preferred shares are an important element in determining whether a company is eligible for listing on the NASDAQ. The liquidity of those shares can also be a factor; If there is no real market for stocks, then companies generally can’t move from the pink-sheet-penny stock market to NASDAQ trading.

The pink penny stock market is more speculative than traditional stock markets and carries greater risk for investors. Pink-leaf penny stocks are generally issued by companies that currently cannot meet the requirements to go pink on the NASDAQ; this includes startups and high-risk companies. As a result, investing in the Pink Sheets Penny stock market must be balanced with lower risk investments in regular stocks and stocks.

Dehydration of garden crops

Raised on Okanagan fruits and vegetables, Dave and Lillian Brummet love sharing their passion for gardening, fresh produce, and cooking. Today they will help us reduce food waste in our kitchen, expand our budget and make a difference for the planet.

Having a small dehydrator can prevent a lot of food waste in the kitchen, and you’ll never have to pass up people offering you their garden extras again. Plus, leftovers from meals can be easily dehydrated and used later for on-the-go situations like backpacking or snowshoeing.

After dehydrating any vegetable, use a blender or grinder to create a fine powder and store in separate jars. Every year we dehydrate at least one jar of chopped sweet peppers, hot peppers and ripe tomatoes. If any recipe calls for chopped chillies or bell peppers, fresh or ‘sun-dried’ tomatoes, we can easily substitute a dried version. We also have a jar of mixed vegetable powder; using a few teaspoons of this mixture in homemade broths to add flavor or to help thicken and enrich stews and soups. Simply reconstitute the powders by covering them with some boiled water for a few minutes. (Reserving the excess water to use as broth).

Adding tomato powder to burgers or meatballs makes for a completely different and delicious experience. It also works as a fantastic thickener for sauces or ketchups that are too watery. Also, in a pinch, 1/4 cup of reconstituted tomato powder can be used in place of a small can of tomato paste.

Try rehydrating a few tablespoons of dry product with a small amount of water, making a paste to rub on chicken breasts or roasts before cooking. Alternatively, add some to store-bought chicken coating mixes. In our latest release, a recipe collection of over 300 delicious and nutritious meals (from One Small Garden), we have a great recipe for making your own mix.

By cooking with fresh, locally sourced produce packed with nutrients, you can live a better life. The way we eat has an impact on our world: it affects the health of the earth, the purity of water and air, and of course your own personal well-being. The Burmmets From One Small Garden Cookbook encourages gardening and composting among over 300 amazing food recipes. This book shows the value of getting every bit of flavor and nutrition from your well-earned food. So the next time you see a big sale during peak harvest season, or a neighbor threatens to give you another box of vegetables, bring the dehydrator and crank it up!

Parenting: The Difference Between Discipline and Punishment

Parents never leave the hospital with their newborns and think, “I need to have a punishment plan for my child.” However, as time goes by, parents find that sometimes things don’t go perfectly and children don’t always act with total obedience, thus punishing their children more than they would like. This tends to wear down even the best of parents, but the issue isn’t punishment, it’s discipline.

The role of a father is to teach his children how to live and act so that they are safe, healthy, growing in knowledge and ability, and equipped with every opportunity to live an independent life one day. This doesn’t happen overnight, it happens only with time and careful attention to consistency and purpose. parents must train your children how to do this, just as an athlete trains for a race. Training involves demonstration, repetition, correction, and encouragement. it’s a process. For many parents, the hardest on that list is correction because it tends to become punitive and comes across as punishment rather than discipline.

Punishment is about the negative outcome, while discipline focuses on preventative steps. If a child is well trained, she will understand the goal, will have seen the methods or ways in which she can succeed, and will be expected to repeat that process of achieving it. They will also understand that if they make a mistake, there may be some consequences (discipline), but those consequences do not translate into anger or frustration. They are simply the result of an action. But this type of discipline comes from a perspective of desired growth for the child, just as a coach would ask the athlete to repeat the drill or stay for extra practice to increase their skills. Discipline is designed to redirect actions toward the desired goal.

Punishment, however, tends to be met in anger. It is reactive and not smooth. Is full of emotion that expresses a point (such as “You failed!”) rather than pointing toward a goal (such as “How can you do better next time?”) The punishment is vindictive in nature because the child interrupted parents plans or activities. The punishment can be focused on what the parent wants at the time, such as peace and quiet, not being interrupted, not being embarrassed, etc.

The challenge for parents is to be aware of the training they are undergoing. They need to know the goals for their children. Having a family vision statement to focus on is important to the life and faith of every family. Once it is in place, just like coaches, parents need to be consistent and intentional about the training plan. They must remember to demonstrate the skills they want their children to learn, practice the skills with them, repeat them again, and, as needed, redirect attention to goals that are important to each child’s overall well-being.

When Does Eating Healthy Make Your Life Happy?

Is it possible that our food lifestyle affects our entire lifestyle? Definitely! It’s like saying that if we eat healthy we are actually living a happy life. Obviously, since when we are well fed, we are healthy in all aspects: mental, physical, spiritual and, of course, emotional. And this is what true happiness is. When we live in the healthiest way possible, there should be no reason why we shouldn’t be totally happy too.

There are times when we get a little cloudy in terms of our perspective on life. This is particularly true on an empty and malnourished stomach. Eating—not just any food, but good food—can actually fuel you through a day full of activities and pressures. Being well fed won’t make you feel groggy or even dead tired. And when we are hungry and poorly fed our train of thought and point of view will also be adversely affected.

So your question will probably be, what are the things that one should do to live a healthy lifestyle? This good question requires a good answer. The main thing that we need to do is that we need to know and we need to be informed about what the exact meaning of healthy eating is.

Eating healthy does not in any way mean going on a diet and losing a lot of weight. It doesn’t mean becoming a religious vegetarian, nor does it mean being dependent on vitamin supplements, or eating only one or two from the staple food group. Although you should also not think that doing these things will mean that you are not healthy, but that it simply means and shows that you are depriving yourself of the opportunity to know what healthy eating really means.

Enjoying the food you eat can be a sign of good eating. In your quest to eat healthy, it doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll choose foods that you consider to be “off-tasting.” It may mean, on the other hand, giving your taste buds a chance to finally get to know each other and get used to eating organic, fresh, safer and cleaner food that you can have and give to your family.

Another thing is that you certainly don’t have to stop and deprive yourself of the opportunity to enjoy some of the foods that you really like. Instead, you can start by taking small steps to move beyond the foods you normally eat to the good, right, healthy ones. Having a positive mind and a positive outlook on this will also make you have a positive view of how you should eat well. Anyway, if there is someone who must love yourself first, that someone has to be you. So he starts loving yourself. Through this, you will finally be able to realize what needs to be done.

Remember that having a healthy diet will also give healthy organs. Keep in mind that your body is a living organism any way you look at it. Therefore, it needs and requires all the nutrition it can get to function properly and most of all to stay alive. Healthy foods are precisely necessary for all our organs: our heart, liver, kidneys and all other organs of the body. They definitely need foods that are healthy to function at their optimal levels.

Whenever you get sick, come down with an illness, or become exhausted, it’s mainly because your body isn’t getting the vital nutrition it needs to function smoothly. And although each organ has its own function, they have to work together for a total mind and health.

And finally, healthy eating will definitely and 100% promote positive benefits and positive changes. It is not enough that you lose weight, but the most important thing is that you have managed to change the way you eat. And if this leads to weight loss, that will be your bonus. Changing the old pattern of the way you eat will really make a difference in your outlook and lifestyle. Just remember this on your journey, don’t be overwhelmed by all the stuff you’re reading about eating and losing weight. And this, in turn, will make your life happy.

How can a brand save its company?

A registered trademark represents your business. You can register a brand, logo, symbol and even a sound that refers to your business.

A trademark represents to others that your company owns the products or services you offer exclusively. Sometimes customers are driven to buy a product because of its brand name, so it’s important to make the brand stand out by first having a unique trademark. Recognizable symbols help create healthy relationships with customers and keep repeat shoppers loyal.

Your need for a trademark registration depends on the scale at which you establish or grow your business. If your business is in a single state and there is no interstate commerce, then you do not need a trademark.

When you acquire a business license from the state in which you do business, you gain legal rights to your business name. No other person or business may use your trade name unless permitted to do so.

But if you want to expand your business and also start trading in other states, your trademark will not be protected. In this case, you will need to register your trademark, which will ensure the protection and authenticity of your brand. Registering your trademark helps avoid problems like doing business in the states with companies operating under the same trademark.

You may also be inclined to register your trademark if you provide goods or services on the Internet. E-commerce merchants often do business with customers outside of their company’s home state. A registered trademark will protect your company’s identity when doing business online in other states.

The various benefits of registering your trademark:

  • Communication: A brand makes it easy for you to communicate your ideology to your consumer base. Certain designs or words in your logo can be effective in selling and marketing your products. Consumers generally associate themselves with certain intellectual and emotional messages that are conveyed through your business brand.
  • valuable asset: With time and the rate at which your business grows, the value of the brand is subsequently appreciated. There are times when the brand as an asset grows to such a level that it exceeds the total value of the company. It can then be sold, leased, or used as collateral when taking out loans.
  • Availability: A brand helps customers recognize a particular company. In a competitive world where several others offer the same service or sell the same product as you, it’s hard to stand out. Here, the trademark comes to your rescue. It grabs the customer’s attention and makes them less likely to switch to another brand. They also know who they are dealing with, therefore they are less likely to switch to an alternative.
  • Recognition: When a customer searches for your products on the online portal, a unique trademark helps the portal filter the results and display your name at the top. Filtered results showing your name on customer screens happen only when there is increased traffic for your products, which translates to higher rankings, leading to more customers and more brand recognition.
  • No expiration date: Your trademark does not expire while it is being used. Once registered, there is no provision for a renewal.

When choosing a brand, the owner must keep in mind that he must justify his product. A thorough investigation must be carried out to avoid probable cases related to violations.

All of the above points answer the question of why a company needs a brand to save itself.

Differences between the Epson Artisan 800 and the Epson Artisan 810 Wireless

If you’re the kind of person who gets attached to Ford, La Coste, Adidas, or any of the other well-known brands, chances are, if you’re the lucky owner of an Epson Artisan 800, when the time comes you’ll want to replace it with the excellent upgrade, the Epson Artisan 810 Wireless.

Don’t be ashamed of being so easily identified, you could have done much worse and I don’t think anyone will criticize your conservative choice of make or model. As you probably already know, the Artisan 800 won “Best Printer of the Year” in the US, so the only thing left to do was add features, instead of trying to fix hiccups that didn’t exist. first.

The Epson Artisan 800 and the Artisan 810, although a couple of years apart, are almost identical twins. Well the duplex that comes with the Artisan 810, you had to spend an extra 50 bucks with the 800 and Epson added a little LED on the button that lowers the touch screen into position.
Since the duplex unit supposedly saves you 50 percent on paper since you’re printing on both sides, you really have to analyze your printing needs and break out your calculator. A sheet of letter-size paper costs about $0.01, so if you’re printing more than 13.6 sheets a day and plan on keeping the printer for a year, it might well be worth the money: that’s about $7. sheets per day if you plan to keep the printer for 2 years, and so on.

One of the similarities between the two Artisans that really justifies sticking with the Epson brand is the use of Claria inks. Claria ink dries so fast that you can literally pour water over the print without worrying about ink smearing.

Wireless networking is a bit simpler with the 810 as Epson doesn’t actually ask you to connect it to your router, as was the case with the 800.

If you’re just browsing the market for an all-in-one printer and haven’t made up your mind yet, I’d like to recap a few features and mention a couple of others to help you get an overview of the Epson Artisan. Both the 810 Wireless and the 800. They both share a huge touch screen that is literally unmatched by the competition, the duplex unit is good for saving paper, the duplex automatic document feeder (ADF) helps you get through a lot of documents scan, fax or copy on both sides while you go about other things and of course the wireless network that has only been improved with the 810.
One thing to mention regarding both the Artisan 800 and Artisan 810 Wireless is the print speed which is nothing short of impressive as 4 by 6 inch photos are shot in 10 seconds, and we’re talking single shots not repetitions.

There are good alternatives, one of them being the MX870 from Canon’s intrusive PIXMA series. On the other hand, it’s not shown with a 7.8-inch touchpad as this article is being written, it’s priced slightly lower but, again, with slightly different features.

Good luck deciding on the best printer for your needs.

own a ragdoll cat

Owning a ragdoll cat should be a very satisfying partnership for both sides, yours because the ragdoll is cute, fluffy and likes to cuddle with you, and theirs because they look cute, fluffy and cuddle with you.

Ragdoll cats are very lovable creatures, usually very attached to their owners, and they demonstrate this attachment by following them around for days at a time. Trying to hide from a rag cat is useless as it will seek you out and punish you with more snuggles.

So having a ragdoll cat is inviting a wonderfully cuddly friend into your home – wonderful, but clingy. He is not an independent cat, he does not go away for days at a time, he does not leave; only to return to dinner instead, they stay close to their loved ones, rarely leaving your side, and insisting on as much attention as you choose to give them.

You do not have a ragdoll cat, it is part of your family, it is a close (furry) friend, who refuses to be seen as property, the ragdoll cat does not encourage ownership, but rather love and affection. Whether anyone can actually have a cat is up for debate, maybe a dog, but a cat, especially a rag cat, chooses to live with you, not the other way around.

If you choose a ragdoll cat to be your friend, then you are choosing all of the wonderful and strange behaviors of this breed. A rag doll needs constant company, leave him alone for a period of time and he gets very angry, and will surely let you know when he returns home, he has a tendency to get depressed if you leave him alone for long periods of time. And nobody wants a depressed cat.

They are too trusting so you can’t just leave them out for a while, when they get a bit annoying as they get into all sorts of trouble. Plus, they cling to you almost constantly, so you’ll probably accidentally step on your rag doll more than once. With a rag doll, you have to be constantly on your toes!

Despite their laid-back temperament, they tend to be quite noisy creatures, especially if you’re working or watching TV. They’ll talk to you for hours, “meow this” and “meow that,” and you have no idea what they’re saying, so you just have to nod.

They tend to eat a lot, due to their rather large size, so they are almost always hungry, whatever you’re eating is fair game for a rag doll, after all, why not share?

But the truth is that many ragdolls end up in rescue centers because the owners didn’t realize how codependent ragdolls can be, while most cats would be fine if someone fed them while you’re on vacation, a rag doll will have to be placed in a hatchery.

And, despite their apparent need for less grooming, many ragdoll owners say regular grooming is still essential; otherwise expect a rag doll with knots and matted fur, maybe it all depends on what they do, either way, having a rag doll cat, or a rag doll possessing you is a big responsibility not to It should be taken lightly, but if you’re willing to put in the hours, you’ll end up with a truly delightful family pet for many, many years.

Nero, the Christians and the Great Fire of Rome

It was the night of July 19, 64 AD. when the Great Fire erupted through the roofs of stores near the chariot racing and mass entertainment venue called Circus Maximus. The flames, whipped by a strong wind, quickly engulfed densely populated areas of the city.

After burning uncontrollably for five days, 4 of the 14 Roman districts were set on fire, with seven more severely damaged.

Nero: Playing while Rome burned?

Nero might have been playing a zither while Rome burned, but he wasn’t playing a violin. That’s because violins weren’t invented until around 1550.

Nero, probably the most infamous Roman emperor, was the great-grandson of Caesar Augustus.

When his mother’s husband (also his uncle and Nero’s adoptive father…) was killed with poisoned mushrooms, Nero acceded to the throne.

Like many children in those days, he wanted to be a famous singer and a poet. His talent was poor, but as emperor, the empire doubled as a captive audience.

His mother tried to control Nero, to the point of having sex with him. She tried to murder her by booking her on a ship that was designed to fall apart at sea. Unfortunately, her mother was a good swimmer. After she survived, she had a soldier kill her. This shocked the audience, a bit, but they got over it.

Neropolis

It was no secret that Nero wanted to build a series of palaces that he planned to call Neropolis.

But, the planned location was in the city. To build Neropolis, a third of Rome would have to be demolished. The Senate rejected the idea.

Then, coincidentally, the fire cleared the real estate that Neropolis required.

Despite the obvious benefit, there is still a good chance that Nero did NOT start the fire. Up to a hundred small fires regularly broke out in Rome each day. On top of that, the fire destroyed Nero’s own palace. It also seems that Nero did everything he could to stop the fire…

Nero’s reaction to fire

Accounts of the day say that when Nero learned of the fire, he hurried back from Antium to organize a relief effort, using his own money. He opened his palaces to let in the homeless and had food delivered to the survivors.

Nero also devised a new urban development plan that would make Rome less vulnerable to fire. But, although he laid down rules to ensure a safer reconstruction, he also gave himself a large tract of city property with the intention of building his new palace there.

Fake terror gives poll numbers a boost

People knew of Nero’s plans for Neropolis, and all his efforts to help the city could not counter the rampant rumors that he would help start the fire.

As the poll numbers dropped, Nero’s management realized the need to employ False Flag 101: when something, anything, happens to you, even if it’s accidental, point the finger at your enemy.

Fortunately, there was a strange new cult of religious lunatics on hand. This cult was unpopular because they refused to worship the emperor, denounced possessions, held secret meetings, and always spoke of the destruction of Rome and the end of the world.

Even luckier for Nero, two of the cult’s greatest leaders, Peter and Paul, were currently in town.

Then, Nero spread the word that the Christians had started the Great Fire. The citizens of Rome bought his hook, line and sinker. Peter was crucified (upside down, at his own request) and Paul was beheaded. Hundreds of others in the young cult were fed to lions, or smeared with tar and set on fire to become human streetlights.

Such is the fate of those unexpectedly caught up in a false flag operation.
