So it was like a dream come true for both of them on that day, and when the day was over they drove off in Paul’s truck. Karen and Paul had been very serious about getting a divorce, but they knew that this could only be achieved if they were willing to compromise. But there was nothing that his wife could do to change his mind. And so in August of last year, they announced their marriage to the world. Karen was ecstatic, while Paul was devastated.
