Advantages of breeding and toy dog breeds

Toy dogs are loved by many. They are loyal and intelligent and especially good at learning tricks. They are characterized by being very affectionate and loyal to their owners.

Toy dogs are great choices for those with allergies or limited space, as they are generally docile and have less fur to irritate sensitive individuals. They have a slight disadvantage in that they often bark more than larger dogs to get attention, but due to the small size of their vocal cords, they do so with less volume! The best of these dogs, and there are many, are true companion animals. His only task in life is to please people and keep them company.

Toy dogs are exceptional choices for seniors, as they love to be loved, are lightweight (they average 5 pounds, female dogs weigh even less), and are fiercely protective.

Toy dogs, as the name suggests, are very small and most of the time they are not very good with small children. With the exception of the Pug, which has been characterized as one of the most resistant and stable toys.

Despite their small size, toy dogs are probably the bravest pups in the canine family with their big but small voices barking at the mere site of other dogs and bystanders. This can sometimes be a problem for them, however, when they don’t back down against a larger animal, they will surely come off worse off in battle.

Toy dogs are not just meant to entertain your pets. Toy dogs give you a reason to move more, which we all need to do to avoid weight problems. Stay fit by exercising your toy dog. Toy dogs are generally an easy pet to care for.

Toy dogs are not limited in their gene pool by their small size and are descended from a wide variety of dog breeds. Their predominant characteristic is that most were initially bred and developed their characteristic nature when kept as a loyal companion, and are often referred to as lap dogs. You are not awarded points for guessing why this is so!

However, one thing they do suffer from. Toy dogs are notorious for having bad teeth, and their small mouths and jaws make it nearly impossible to clean them properly at home. Therefore, many need regular visits to the vet to keep their teeth and gums healthy.

Toy dog breeders are no different from others and we find their trait of speaking of their disappointing pups as “pet quality only” useless to us. In other words, breeders who view pets as a by-product of the breeder’s search for the perfect dog are not primarily seeking interest from pet owners. We say beware when buying from such a breeder. Breeders like this don’t put the health of their puppies first, rather their motivation is to show off the most attractive dog they can breed.

Breeding for appearance was only introduced in the 19th century and is in danger of degrading the stock of healthy genes in our canine population. Prior to this time, dogs and puppies were bred for useful abilities and traits useful for the duties for which they were intended. Breeds in some breed groups today suffer from far more genetic problems than in the past. Some breeds that have become increasingly popular as time has gone by have suffered from being bred in quantity to feed the market, again to the detriment of the health of the puppies available for sale. Just keep this in mind when choosing a breeder.

Why are the pre-boomers the forgotten generation?

First, few people know the definition of pre-boomers. We are those of us born between 1930 and 1945, from the start of the Great Depression to the end of World War II. Second, no one seems to know how many pre-boomers there are. The latest estimate is over 30 million, which is three times as many as the rest of the 65+ population. And finally, what is special about pre-boomers? As a sandwich generation, we are the bridge between the so-called Biggest Generation and the Baby Boomers.

We don’t remember the pain of depression, but most of us have vivid memories of World War II and the years immediately after. For the most part, we were too young for Korea and too old for Vietnam. We are not marching in the streets for civil rights, women’s rights or to protest any war. What we did was grow up believing that the United States was the best land in the world and believing in the opportunities it offered to those of us who worked hard to get ahead. So we were the driving force behind what ultimately became the longest period of peacetime prosperity in the nation’s history. Oh, and don’t forget, we invented rock and rock too.

Our elders (parents, teachers, and community) taught us to be patriotic, believe in others, and believe in ourselves. We still cherish these lessons and practice them to the best of our ability. It was the pre-boomers who taught the boomers, but at some point they didn’t hold on to American values like we did. The “me generation” became the status symbol and the “plus” generation. This pleased marketers of goods and services, and when the boomers came of age, there was a large group of consumers eager to buy what others were selling. I know, because I was one of the marketers who targeted baby boomers and then wrote a book on marketing to them, “The 50+ Boomer: Your Key to 76 Million Consumers.”

After retiring a few years ago, I have continued to research and write about marketing topics. In doing so, I realized how people underestimated my generation. Marketers, advertisers, the media, you name it; they just forgot about the pre-boomers. A quick search of websites or online articles shows that few are directed at my peers. Yes, there are people who write to “seniors” about investments, real estate, retirement plans, and insurance; but there’s not much in the way of current events or nostalgic interests specifically for pre-boomers. In fact, most people use pre-boomer and boomer interchangeably; not all but enough to indicate that they do not have an understanding of the audience they are trying to reach.

So I decided to start a blog to reach out to my generation with thoughts, comments, and opinions. My hope is to spark thought, encourage discussion, and stimulate debate on a variety of topics, including nostalgia for our times. Pre-bommermusings.com has been around for a few months. The reception has been heartwarming, but I’m looking to engage more of us with more dialogue on more topics.

names given by god

I was born David A. Hoover on January 10, 1960 in Bowling Green, Ohio. However, I legally changed my name to David Ben-Ariel (with the help of my Jewish attorney) during the spring of 1989. It cost me $300.00.

It also required me to take out a small ad in a newspaper announcing my intentions 30 days in advance. I placed my ad in the Bowling Green Sentinel.

I also had to go before a judge (depends on which county you were born in) to have my motivations privately questioned. My lawyer assured him that he was not running from the law or trying to escape an outstanding debt, but rather that my reasons were religious in nature. The judge accepted that, but he wanted to impress on me that he might have “problems” with that name in the United States, without elaborating. I felt that he meant because he was Jewish and/or it might be hard for some to know how to pronounce it. I told him I wasn’t worried because I was planning to move to Israel anyway.

My reasons for changing my name were religious in nature. Because? Because I honestly feel like Ben-Ariel is a God given name. And why would I feel this way? Because after a Hebrew class where my teacher mentioned how many people change their names when they move to Israel, I went home wondering what last name I would have in Israel, knowing that my first name is already Hebrew.

I had always liked the Hebrew name of Ben-Ammi, after reading about it in Leon Uris’s book Exodus, since it means “son of my people”, but as I thought about it and wondered what name my father would have given me, if he had given me a Hebrew name, I did not know. I then knelt down in prayer and asked God what name, IF ANY, he would give me, since He is my Heavenly Father, and I couldn’t ask my dad because he died when I was twelve.

I was hoping that God might lead or guide or influence me to like a particular name, but immediately ARIEL popped into my mind and I immediately rejected it. Because? Because it means “the Lion of God” and I felt that name only belongs to Jesus Christ, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. While wondering about Ariel’s name, I remembered that Israel’s defense minister was Ariel Sharon (whom I met in Jerusalem and Hebron). Reluctantly I decided to keep the name in reserve (as it really stuck with me!) until God or circumstances led me to accept another, and I went to bed.

The Bible mentions MANY INCIDENTS where God chose to change someone’s name or name them before their birth. It is unusual but it is not unbiblical. There were Abraham, Sarah, and Isaac (Gen. 17:5, 15, 19); Ishmael (Gen. 16:11); Solomon (1 Chronicles 22:9) and Solomon’s nickname Jedidiah (2 Sam. 12:25); Cyrus (Isaiah 44:28; 45:4); John the Baptist (Luke 1:13); Jesus (Matthew 1:21); Peter and the two brothers James and John, whom Jesus nicknamed “sons of thunder” (Mark 3:16-17); Just to name a few.

God promises to give each of us a new and unique name in the Kingdom, either in place of or in addition to our current one (Rev. 2:17), as well as to share the new name of Jesus and bear the name of the Father as Priest. Kings (Rev. 3:12, 14; Ex. 28:36; Lev. 8:9). God has many names, or titles, descriptive of his wonderful qualities and characteristics (Isaiah 9:6). The Jews even teach that the Hebrew name for God, Elohim (literally Gods), is plural due to the fact that God is too great to be limited to just one name, and is used in the actual sense of “us.” That is why Elohim said “we will…” We understand that it is also because there are currently two Divine Beings in the one Kingdom of God, just as Adam and Eve were two separate persons who shared the last name Adam as a family unit (Genesis 2 :24; 5:2; John 10:30).

God has his reasons why he would change someone’s name and who are we to question it? The April 1980 issue of good news magazine (published by the Worldwide Church of God) published an article called “Church History” that helps us understand why Jesus changed Simon’s name to Peter: “…and gave him a prophetic last name of strength moral and spiritual that he would eventually demonstrate. Jesus gave him the new name, before he had earned it, so that it might be an incentive for him to realize what Jesus had expected.”

After laying down, about to fall asleep, Isaiah 29:1 came to mind. The amazing thing is that he had never memorized that Scripture! Reveals that Ariel is a nickname for JERUSALEM! Now I understand why God the Father had chosen Ariel for me. Anyone who knows me knows that Jerusalem is always on my mind (Jeremiah 51:50), especially after my first visit there to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) in 1980. God has shown me that He has awakened me and He has given a burning desire for Jerusalem and Israel (Isaiah 62:1, 6-7). I finally realized that God was calling me “SON OF JERUSALEM”.

I got out of bed, got on my knees with tears in my eyes, and thanked God for truly knowing us inside and out, just as His Word says, and I embraced the new name God had given me! I also accepted it as a SPIRITUAL GOAL: to live worthy of one who bears the name of holy Jerusalem and all that he ideally represents.

I end my prayers in front of Jerusalem every night with Yerushalayim Shel Zahav (Golden Jerusalem), a plea for Jerusalem to fulfill its call (2 Chronicles 6:38-39; Dan. 6:10). Later, I began to understand how Ariel can also refer to Judah and King David. Since my family tree goes back to both the British and Scottish royal families (the Royal House of David), it’s also appropriate that Ben-Ariel can mean “son of David” and “son of Judah” (whose tribal emblem is the lion). .

I am convinced that the God of the Bible, the God of Israel and the God of my ancestor David, has blessed me with the name of Ariel. Even if I chose Ariel for myself, which I did not, I originally opposed, there would be no harm in that, since such a practice is biblical: “One will say: I am of the LORD, and another will call himself by the name of Jacob, and another shall subscribe with his hand to Jehovah, and shall be called by the name of Israel” (Isaiah 44:5).

God gave me the last name Ariel back in 1982, however it wasn’t until 1989 that I finally legally changed my name. I knew that even though God had given me the name, he didn’t necessarily have to change my name. I was also hesitant to do it because I am the only son and the only Hoover males alive (that I know of) were my grandfather and myself. He did not want the name to die out, not that I am married and have children anyway (although God assures the “eunuchs” of him that excellent and everlasting names will be given to us-Isa. 56:5). I began to see that Hoover was possibly an anglicized form of the German Huber (since many immigrants changed their names upon arrival in the United States).

I also didn’t want to hurt or offend my grandfather (Arthur Hoover of Risingsun, Ohio) or possibly be disinherited, but I decided that since I was about to seek citizenship in Israel, a new chapter in our family history was beginning. , I was going to take the initiative and change my name. My grandfather ended up dying about four months before the event, not knowing what he planned to do. So now I’ve been David Ben-Ariel for years and my family and friends are used to it.

My God-given name is ESTABLISHED BEFORE GOD which mentions Jerusalem twice in it: the City of David and Ariel.

Celebrating an Italian Heritage in East Harlem, New York: Part 3 of a 3-part series

In the conclusion of this 3-part article, we will examine the progression of Italian heritage and community that began and grew in East Harlem as Italian immigrants immigrated to New York and assimilated into the community. In part 1 we examine the Italian Harlem neighborhood and its people, in part 2 we examine the importance of the family, the birth of the Italian community and the church for this community, now we examine the important heritage of the religious celebration that defines this community. community.

Italian Harlem settlement

The first Italian immigrants to East Harlem arrived as early as 1878 and established their place in the vicinity of 115th Street. They were from Polla in the province of Salerno. The first Italians in East Harlem were employed as strikebreakers for an Irish American contractor, JD Crimmins. They were working on First Avenue Trolley Tracks when strikes broke out, angering Irish workers. As a result, all striking Irish workers were sacked. There was great tension between the laid-off workers and the newly arrived Italians. They coexisted within blocks of each other in East Harlem. There were also numerous cases of gang violence between the Irish and Italians over land issues.

During the 1880s, East Harlem was of great interest to New Yorkers. Masses of Italian immigrants escaping the congestion of the legendary Mulberry Bend area, with its dirty and overcrowded tenements, moved to East Harlem. Italians from the regions of Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, and Sicily avoided the lower Manhattan area and established communities here during the last quarter of the 19th century. Italians from the same towns and cities huddled together in niches, confining their associations mainly to family and townspeople, placing bets along the streets of East Harlem. On 112th Street there was a Bari settlement; on East 107th Street between First Avenue and East River there were people from Sarno (near Naples); then, on East 100th Street, between First and Second Avenues, were the Sicilians of Santiago. A small group of Genoese settled south of 106th Street. Neapolitans settled in the space between 106th and 108th Streets. In addition, there were Northerners from Piscento who settled on East 100th Street and Calabrians who settled on 109th Street. They were satisfied. In this new neighborhood they were allowed to use their own language, eat their own ethnic foods, and practice their customs and religion as they did in their homeland, even though there were other nationalities living in the surrounding streets.

The celebration of religious holidays in East Harlem

1) The Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel

July 16 is the Feast Day of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Italian Harlem. It has been the most attended party in the entire United States. “Its popularity was ensured when in 1903 Pope Leo XIII imposed a set of gold crowns on the statue (one for the Virgin and one for the baby Jesus) and declared the church awarded a basilica, a status that throughout The United States is shared only with Our Lady of Perpetual Help in New Orleans.”

At the height of the 1930s, the population of Italian Harlem had reached approximately 100,000 or more. Even during the Depression years, this was the largest colony of Italian-Americans ever to attend the festivities. Thus, the combination of the local community along with people on pilgrimages from as far away as New Mexico, California, Florida, and even Canada provided a total of around 500,000 participants who attended the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. This annual procession is the proudest outward expression of Italian Harlem’s cultural identity.

Since the 1960s, there has been a steady decline in gathering for the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, as a result of the move of Italians from East Harlem. Yet the passion is still there, bringing Italians back year after year to worship together as they once did. Friendships are rekindled, long-lost neighbors are reunited, and neighborhood memories are revived regarding an era that once was. Not only do they come to the party, but they return to the church to attend the novenas that are said in Italian or to celebrate a particular mass for the dead. Over the years, a new group of participants has given impetus to the “Our Lady of Mount Carmel” feast, sponsored and produced by Italian-Americans. Haitians have been making pilgrimages to East Harlem from many areas within New York and from other states. These Haitians are familiar with the location of the Church of “Our Lady of Mount Carmel.” Many of them visit the Church for its mass in French, which is celebrated on the first Saturday of each month. They seek spiritual guidance and the intervention of the Blessed Mother on their behalf. “Elizabeth McAlister, a Yale University graduate scholar who has been studying the festival, says the growing number of Haitians who have been participating since the 1980s view Our Lady through the prism of Roman Catholic and Afro-Haitian traditions.” .

Last year was the 126th annual procession with many more to come.

2) The festival of Giglio di Sant’Antonio

This party originally got its start in the 1880s in the town of Brusciano, Italy, which is about 20 miles from Naples. Francesco Vivolo, a local Brusciano resident, prayed to Sant’Antonio (Saint Anthony) to help heal his terminally ill son. He promised Saint Anthony that he would have a Gigli built in his honor and would dance with him in the streets of Brusciano if his prayer was answered, in the same way that the townspeople of Nola, Italy, honored San Paolino di Nola. . Vivolo’s prayers were answered and thus began the Gigli ball in Brusciano.

In the early 1900s, many of the families from the town of Brusciano immigrated to East Harlem, New York, bringing with them their cherished traditions, including the annual Giglio Festival dance in honor of Sant’Antonio.

“For those unfamiliar with the Giglio (pronounced JEEL-YO), it is a 75- to 85-foot-tall wooden structure weighing approximately 8,000 pounds with a papier-mâché face adorned with beloved saints and colorful flowers. In the platform just above the base of the Giglio seats a multi-piece band along with several singers. The music is an instrumental part of the Giglio dance, as it inspires the lifters (also known as ‘”Paranza” in Italian) to assume the heavy weight of the Giglio and the band and dance in harmony with the music that is being played”. The Giglio uprising requires more than 100 men working in unity.

Members of the Vivolo family have been involved in celebrating Giglio parties in East Harlem for many years.

Francisco Vivolo had three sons and two daughters. Of the children, Rocco was the eldest, Gioacchino was the second son, and then there was Antonio, the youngest boy who was healed. According to Francisco Vivolo’s great-grandson, Phil Bruno, a native of East Harlem, Rocco was the first to arrive in the United States. He lived on Mulberry street. He then moved into an apartment at 348 East 106th street sometime in 1906. Then Phil Bruno’s grandfather, Gioacchino, arrived in December 1907. Gioacchino sent for his wife and son and they settled in an apartment at 2053 1st Ave. He lived there until 1958 when the houses were demolished. Phil Bruno also lived in that same house. Soon after, the first Giglio party was held on 106th Street in the year 1909. Gioaccino became the first Capo Paranza (Head of the Lifters). That is a position that commands the highest respect at a Giglio celebration. Several years later, in 1918, the Bruscian society was formed with Rocco as president. The first celebration of the Giglio party under the administration of the Bruscianese Society was in 1918.

Sometime during the 1920s and 1930s, many Giglios were built and transported on 106th Street during the party along with a boat. The Bruscianese Society, which organized the party on 106th Street, was only able to do so until the mid-1930s.

A statue of Saint Anthony was sent to Phil Bruno’s grandparents by a relative who was a priest in Brusciano. This statue was used at the festival from 1925 to 1955. It is still in his family today. Phil Bruno’s grandparents sat in front of the statue during every party held on 106th Street along with his mother, aunts and uncles until 1955, Giglio’s last party on 106th Street. Giglio moved to 108th Street, where it continued until 1971. After a 29-year hiatus, the party returned in 2000 and has continued to take place annually ever since. It is as strong and vibrant as ever. I should know, I was there in 2010.

Continuing a family tradition, Phil Bruno’s passion for the old neighborhood and celebrating its festivals is palpable. He has been and continues to be a member of the Society of the Holy Name of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. He attends the monthly fellowship meetings at Mt. Carmel located at 115th Street. Phil is also a board member and capo at the time of the party, and a lieutenant with the East Harlem Giglio Society in charge of Giglio restoration. .

Among the many collaborators who have made the success of both parties possible, Bob Maida is by far one of the greatest. His love, tireless energy and passion for the old neighborhood is strong and contagious. Bob Maida is a volunteer photographer who has voluntarily and magnanimously given of his time and money to capture holiday images with real emotions that are impossible to put into words. Year after year, these images have added to already inflated chests containing Italian Harlem memorabilia.

Although many former Italian Harlem residents have passed away, it is their children and grandchildren who continue to carry the memories of the old neighborhood, preserving the culture and bonds of friendship that have been passed down from one generation to the next. They have experienced the best of both worlds while proudly preserving aspects of their culture, celebrating the heritage their ancestors once brought to their new adopted home.

Top 10 Spring Bass Fishing Tips

I see the new lures and the advertising for new equipment, and I need to get some. Looking at all the new fishing lures and equipment, I have to get it. Despite the fact that I bought several things last year, I have never used them. If you’re a Bass angler, you know exactly what I mean.

The beginning of the Bassin season may be the best time of the year to catch large bass. They have eaten little during the winter because the cold water slows down their metabolism and now that the water is getting warmer; they are hungry and ready to eat.

The biggest bass I’ve ever caught was on an opening day of the season, in about 6 feet of water, near flooded trees. I was using an original black and gold Rapala that writhed on the surface near the trees. I tossed it and let it rest near a tree. I saw the wake coming through the water from about 10 feet away. He hit so hard that his entire body came out of the water. Six pounds 4 ounces. It was incredible

Preparing to spawn.

1. Many baits work well early in the season because most bass will stay in shallow water most of the day where the water is warmer. The fish are looking for a place to lay eggs, or have laid eggs and are protecting them. Even after spawning, when they are guarding the fry, they will be close to their chosen bed. They can be aggressive, or they may not move even if you hit them with the lure, I have seen both reactions. It can be very frustrating when you see the fish and you put the lure in front of their face and they don’t move.

2. The warmest water will be at the north end of the lake in the spring. The sun is still low in the sky to the south, so the far north will get sun much longer during the day. The sun beating down on the lake can warm the water temperature 5 degrees or more in one day. The bass will go to warmer, shallower waters because there is more activity from small fish, crayfish, and other food sources. Dark-bottomed areas at the north end of the lake will warm faster, because black bottoms retain heat better than light-colored sandy bottoms.

Where to fish

3. However, do not go through the flats with a sandy bottom. There is a lake where I fish regularly, which I love to get to before the sun rises. There is an area on the northeast side of the lake, about 10 acres of flat sand, about 3 to 6 feet deep. I can’t even count the number of bass I’ve caught in this area, casting a medium scuba crankbait and bouncing it along the sandy bottom. Bass love to cruise the sandy flats at dawn, they are aggressive and love to bite.

4. Be silent. When you’re fishing in shallow water, the noise you make travels a long way through the water and is amplified considerably above what you hear. I have a big radio with a CD player on my boat, I never have it on when I’m fishing. Can you imagine how that sounds to fish?

I recommend you even turn off the engine before you get to your spot and use the trolling motor to get closer. I think it’s even better if you put the trolling motor at a very low speed and let it run while you’re in shallow water, so it makes a low, constant sound. If you have it at high speed and keep hitting it, it can scare off the fish as well.

Keep things quiet and move as little as possible when you’re in shallow water, especially if you’re in an aluminum boat. Just think that any noise you make is amplified through your helmet and through the water.

Structure

5. When you are in shallow water, look for any structure you can see. A line of brush forms, trees in the water, boat lifts, rocks, etc. Never go over a pier without fishing it from the front to the shore. If you’ve ever fished off a pier, you know that small sunfish, crappies, and other small fish like to hang out on the piers. What do sea bass like to eat? Smaller fish. The Bass knows that the food will be there, so they go there to eat.

Any weeds like sedges that stick out of the water and grow on the sand flats can be amazing at the right time. There is a lake where my brother and I have fished a lot. There is a reed bed in about 5 feet of water on a sandy flat that we had fished before and fished.

One day in a light rain in early June we went to this reed bed and over the course of the next 5 hours we caught over 80 largemouth bass in the 2 to 4 pound range, not very big but a good size and fun to catch in Minnesota. We trap them all in bright purple weightless plastic worms from Texas. It was the single most phenomenal fishing experience I have ever had. We finally gave up because we were tired of fishing. We have caught many more Bass from those reed beds, but never anything like that day.

longer throws

6. Cast longer. When you’re in shallow water, and especially if it’s clear, you’ll want to cast longer so you don’t spook the fish. If you’re fishing on flat sand, you can switch to a rod with a lighter line, because you don’t have to worry about the fish getting caught in the weeds. The lighter line will allow you to cast farther and use the smaller baits if necessary.

7. Wear polarized sunglasses. You will be surprised at how much better you can see through the glare on the surface of the water and see the fish if the water is relatively clear. Seeing fish always excites you. I’ve never tried one of the underwater cameras, but that’s why they’ve become popular. It motivates you if you see the fish. The cameras look great, but I think I would spend more time looking at the screen than fishing, so it wouldn’t help me catch more fish.

Use all your arsenal.

8. Test all your lures. Sometimes any lure will work in the spring. Start with the lures that can cover the most water the fastest. If you are fishing on a sandbar that is open, start with a crankbait. If you are fishing on kelp line or other structure and the water is rough, start with a spinnerbait or chatterbait. If you are out when the sun is up, definitely try a topwater that you can throw near the deck and entice them to bite. If faster fishing lures don’t work, switch to jigs or worms. Every obvious structure. I start with a spinnerbait and then go to a tube jig or plastic worm before moving on. If you find a lure that works, use it until it stops working. Fish can change what they want multiple times during the same day, so don’t get hung up on just one lure. Try different lures and you will catch Bass.

9. Go for smaller lures. If you just can’t find anything that is working. Go for a smaller bait and something that can be fished more slowly. A smaller crappie-sized spinnerbait or smaller tube jig, or 4-inch plastic worms may be just the ticket for finicky bedding or post-spawning bass.

go fishing

10. Go bass fishing. If you live in Minnesota like I do, and you are a bass fisherman, you are part of a smaller group of anglers. Most anglers in Minnesota fish for walleye and panfish. There is nothing wrong with Walleye or Panfish or Pike. I fish for panfish whenever I want a great fish to eat, nothing beats crappie and lightly breaded, butter-fried sunfish fillets.

One thing you may not know if you don’t fish for bass is that you catch a lot of pike when fishing for bass. I catch my fair share of Walleyes while fishing for Bass. Fishing kelp lines at the edges of deeper water is a good place to catch good size walleye to eat, and they will catch spinnerbaits and crankbaits quite easily. My point is to go bass fishing and you’ll be hooked, especially if you’re like me and hate to stand still and stare at a cork.

A guide to buying a used Audi A4

Over the years, the Audi A4 line of cars has exemplified a good reputation in the world of luxury automobiles. The Audi A4 competed with the BMW 3 Series, Ford Mondeo, Mercedes C-Class, Lexus IS, and Volkswagen Passat, among others.

The A4 generation of cars also features A4 Avant, which is a station wagon, and A4 Cabriolet, which is a convertible. Eventually, it added two performance cars in its luxury collection lineup, namely the Audi S4 and the Audi RS4. The good thing about the Audi A4 is that it involves both the functionality of a family car and the performance of a sports car.

If you are considering buying a used A4 car, you can carry out a series of inspections and evaluations of the car’s features, including the engine, brake pedals, wiring, control, handling, lights, gearboxes, etc Aside from the lower price tag, other advantages that come with buying a used Audi include the car’s excellent build quality, excellent exterior and interior, excellent ride and handling, attractive and stylish design, and the Audi badge that refers to the maintenance of the car of its value.

There are a variety of diesel and gasoline engines available for an Audi A4 car, so it won’t be difficult for you to replace your engine if the used car you plan to buy ever has a bad engine. Furthermore, it uses an economical 1.9-litre TDI diesel engine and its 4-wheel drive grip comes with different Quattro models.

However, the Audi A4 does have a few drawbacks compared to its rivals. One is its rear legroom, which is less roomy compared to BMW 3-series and Mercedes C-Class cars. Also, a used A4’s 1.9-litre TDI diesels are occasionally noisy, and some of the Car parts are not as fully equipped as a new one, so you should make sure that you have checked the main parts of a used A4 before you buy it.

The Audi A4 is ideal for couples and families, as its high-quality and attractive family models can be widely used by most families who travel frequently. It’s also very handy when it comes to fuel costs, as its three 1.9-litre TDI diesels – offered in the 100bhp type – can certainly get around 50 mpg. Lastly, you could consider the fact that the Audi A4 is one of the fastest cars out there and can be used over both long and short distances.

Cultivation of apple trees for firewood

Many people think that apple trees only have one purpose, which is of course to produce apples to enjoy eating, but apple trees have other uses. One of those uses is as firewood. If you have a wood stove or fireplace, you know that certain types of wood are better for burning. The types of wood that are best for generating heat are dense woods that have a high BTU rating. Firewood is classified by its heat content per MBTU or million British thermal units and pounds of weight per dry cord of wood. One of the densest forests in existence is Osage Orange; your MBTU rate for 1 cable is ~30 MBTU. White oak, another popular hardwood used for firewood, is rated around 28 MBTU and pine, a lightweight softwood, is rated around 15 or 20 MBTU. Wood from apple trees falls around the range of 25 MBTU per 1 cord of dry wood.

So from these numbers you can see that applewood is a dense word that contains a lot of energy that can be released when properly burned in a wood stove. Another characteristic of apple wood is that it is very fragrant when burned. This makes it a pleasant wood to burn because the smoke is not as unpleasant or acrid as it can be with other woods. Since it is so fragrant, apple wood is also commonly used to make natural incense and to smoke meats. If you have a smoker at home, applewood would make a great source of smoke. Burnt wood also produces a dense hardwood charcoal that can also be used for smoking or outdoor barbecues. Now that you’re convinced that you’re growing apple trees for both fruit and timber, I bet you’re wondering what kind of apple trees you should be growing.

Well, you may have to grow a few different types of apple trees to meet all your needs. If you prefer a particular variety of apple to eat, then by all means grow that variety. You probably won’t be able or want to harvest much wood from your apple trees to eat. Of course, you will want to prune them and you can always collect sticks and branches that will fall. These would be great for smoking or for fragrance when dried, but to really use an apple tree for firewood, you’ll have to grow a tree to maturity and harvest the entire tree. The most practical way to do this is to find a type of apple tree that grows very quickly. Red Delicious, one of the most common eating apples, is known to be a fairly fast growing tree. When choosing a type of tree for firewood, it is important to select the standard or semidwarf apple variety. You do not want to select the dwarf variety, as they will produce very little wood for you. It will take years for the tree to mature to a harvestable size, but if you plant a crop every year after the first planting, then once the first crop is ready to be harvested, you can harvest another crop every year after that. This way you will have an unlimited source of apple wood heat for your home.

In any company, employees are the crucial workforce and the strength of the company. It becomes important for the HR department to keep track of the work record of each and every staff member. Regardless of the size of the company, a company needs to gather resources to optimize its employee records. These include all the information such as pay slips, date of birth, date of entry, incentives, area of work and number of permits to which they are entitled. A time tracking software builds the core of employee management by focusing on the key issues of the work schedule.

A time tracking software helps solve a variety of employee tracking issues and creates a uniform database, allowing management to fill in all information such as daily wages, performance appraisal, and overtime pay whenever necessary. necessary.

It even helps to sort the daily functions and the specific functions of the company’s employees. Large companies often assign this work to the first payroll processing organizations, which handle the company’s random hours.

The biggest benefit of these digital systems is that they eliminate the need for manual time cards. All time is collected electronically and the calculations are done for you. This reduces the chances of making mistakes. Another plus is that these systems manage all your time needs—employee attendance, paid time off, and scheduling—in one program.

Starting and growing business with financing and leasing of CNC roll forming machines

The discovery of metal has been one of the most decisive changes in the history of humanity. Since then, man has had the power to create powerful tools, structures and machines that would forever change the face of the earth. Tools for forming and manipulating metals have also advanced over the centuries.

Modern society now relies on metal for everyday life, whether in the form of cars or kitchen knives, metal is everywhere. This has made metal so important that metal forming work is also becoming very popular.

Of the various types of metal forming, roll forming is a very useful method. Note here that the single word ‘rollform’ has the same meaning as the two separate words ‘rollform’. So these two words are used interchangeably. Here is more information:

o Roll forming is a common and useful method of forming objects from sheet metal.

o Roll forming is a very precise process and a special type of machine is used to roll out the metal.

o These roll forming machines have several rolls that are placed one after the other and are divided into sets called ‘stands’.

o Each bracket bends the metal just a little. Therefore, the metal can be passed through various supports to achieve the desired curvature.

o Profiling is ideal for manufacturing very long parts.

o Roll forming machines bend metal into predetermined shapes. The shape would be a desired cross-sectional profile, which means it will look as if it were cut out of a complete shape, such as a cylinder. The cross sectional profile is simply the required end result of bending.

o Each shape needs its own unique set of rollers. That means a roll forming machine can only make one shape.

Although it may seem that it is not a very useful machine, it must be taken into account that these machines are designed for industrial use. And factories need to do the same thing over and over again, in large numbers. Like a car factory or an aluminum can manufacturing plant.

Therefore, these places would not need to change the curve type once the machine is installed. Each roll is carefully designed to help form a specific shape and industries customize their rolls before installing the machine.

The CNC roll forming machine has the advantage of automating the entire process, giving you a smooth bending process without breaking the metal.

Avoiding breakage is a major concern for many factories and the CNC roll forming machine delivers stellar results in this regard. Therefore, it is a necessary piece of equipment, but it often comes at a fairly high cost. But life can be made easier by making use of CNC roll forming machine financing. It is for those companies that urgently require the machine but cannot make such a large investment at one time. Of course, it’s easy to understand why most startups would be running out of capital.

You can avoid heavy down payments and take time to pay the full amount. Contact a company that has experience leasing manufacturing equipment for financing CNC roll forming machines.

Not today, but every day is "Mother’s Day"

The woman is daughter, sister and wife but, above all, plays the role of Mother. One day would never be enough to let her know how special she is, but it can’t hurt to celebrate a day where we can all tell our mothers that we owe them our lives. Although we deny listening to her advice most of the time, we know that a mother knows better. From our first word to our first friend, from our first teeth to our first fall, our mothers have been the most integral part of the journey. A mother would know when her child is in pain and when she is hungry, and there can be no better cure than to sleep on her lap. She is the first teacher of our life and the only one who never punished us for bad deeds but she taught us the lesson, good or bad.

I trust her not only during my needs but throughout the whirlwind of my life because there is no better guide than her. A person’s childhood sows seeds so that we become adults and our moms play the most important role in shaping a beautiful garden. I can never be thankful enough to my mom for every little thing she has done for me, but I can be sorry for all those times I didn’t value her words. There are times when we consider ourselves adults and neglect our mother’s advice, but with every wrong decision I’ve made in my life, I’ve realized the importance of her words. Dedicate all of your days to your mother, but on her mother’s day, let’s just make her feel more special because with every step we take, she is ten steps ahead of us.

The celebration began in the United States in the early 20th century. It was first eminent in the year 1908 at St. Andrew’s Methodist Church in Grafton, West Virginia, in memory of the mother of Anna Jarvis. She wanted to mark a day in honor of all mothers. She was successful in founding Mother’s Day, but it was not considered an official holiday as the United States Congress had rejected the proposal. In recent times, most of the countries celebrate the second Sunday of May as Mother’s Day.

In our busy daily schedule, it is not possible to give our moms enough time, but at least one day in the year, we can do something to make her feel special and tell her how important she is. If not every day, then on this day we can tell her that we owe it all to her because without our mothers we would have been nowhere and without her dedication and love, we would never have become a better person.
