Aigo N700 review

Aigo N700 is an Android slate tablet that comes with a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The screen is multi-touch and has an ARM Cortex A11 processor that operates at a 1GHz clock speed. The Android 2.1 operating system on an ARM 11 processor with a WVGA display certainly doesn’t seem like a winning combination, but the look and build quality of this slate say a lot more.

The Aigo tablet has a rubberized back that prevents it from slipping out of your hands. Other nifty features include a magnetic charging port and a built-in 3G radio that ensures you’re always connected on the go. The biggest disappointment, however, is the lack of Google Marketplace on the list, as it is from there that most users get access to quality apps. The only thing I liked about the Aigo is its incredible battery life. The company behind the N700 has equipped it with a massive 4250 mAh battery that will easily last you all week even with somewhat heavy use. This easily makes it the most efficient whiteboard out there. So if you’re in the market looking for a slate with exceptional battery runtimes, this is the one to get.

Performance wise, it was decent, although not as fast as the Galaxy Tab. Also, I am convinced that Aigo does not equip it with an HDMI or VGA port. Also, unlike the Galaxy Tab, the N700 lacks a camera and HDMI port and therefore there is no way to display the screen on a larger screen. With that said, I am impressed with what this slate fabrication has been able to accomplish in such a short time.
